Since you're someone who does a lot of budget reviews, something that I wish you'd talk about more is the software and keymapping aspect of keyboards. When you have these smaller form factors like 60/65% most users will want to customize their keymap to fit their needs. And a lot of these budget keyboards have HORRIBLE software, which probably should be considered in anyone's purchasing decisions and definitely should be reviewed as part of the keyboarding experience. Of these options I'd choose the Keychron, even though it's less bang for the buck, simply because it can be configured with well-maintained open-source software (VIA).

I took the advice and spent a little more for the MK75 which came out to only 90 dollars at the time I wrote this comment and I am not disappointed in the slightest. Out of the box, it is an amazing typing experience for that pricepoint. Before I had a Nuphy Air 75, Keychon K6, and one of the Q series for reference. I don't have too much time to commit to modding so out of the box is needed. Sound and quality is amazing. Might also be placebo of a new keyboard but I went up about 10 wpms from 80 to 90 after the first day of use and practice. I got the brown switches which few like Keychrons browns, just a bit heavier. Even at 120 or 130 this is worth it. I got really lucky at catching it a 90 dollars somehow and I am not looking back.

The zouya gmk67 is a real contender against these, gasket mounted, polycarb plate, south facing rgb, 5 pin compatible, aluminium knob, plate foam, switch foam and case foam. Amazing sound from a deceptively cheap board and aliexpress has them as low as $35usd currently. I used spring swapped, lubed and filmed gateron ink black v2's with lubed, wire balanced and holee modded durock smokey plate mount stabs and gmk blue samurai keycaps for mine and the sound is honestly even better than even my keychron q3 with fr4 plate. Massively underrated board, should be more popular.

Seriously, that keyboard is the ultrabudget GOAT. Well built, gaskets, foams, usable stabilizers, south-facing LEDs, 5-pin hotswap sockets, wireless, flip up feet, multiple colors, quiet and thocky...it's amazing what you get for the price, the value is unbeatable. I have one, ordered the 2nd and maybe I'll order another one for my nephews. It's hard to justify buying more expensive 68 kits when that exists for so cheap.

The Royal Kludge M75 is discounted by $40 in the US(it was even on her previous video) but only for the first time you purchase it. I got it for $80 which is closer to the others, though it does say retail is $120. It also has usb-C passthrough when wired.

Just got the TH80 It’s not great but it’s really good. It has become my Daily Driver. Until I buy something I like better. Hot swap, South facing LEDS, some case foam. And DONT buy the kit version. It’s only $20 more and you get key caps and switches… then you can mod or pull it all out for parts.

This is so weird I just got my RK H81 last month lol. I'm not sure if it's your copy that's somehow defective but the dongle holder in mine is definitely magnetic. Tho to be fair the way it's positioned it's not the most secure place to store the dongle anyways. The box is also garbo tho, but the keyboard is nice!

I went with the RK M75 with their new pale green switches and I'm so so happy with it. Swapped out WASD with Gateron Pro Yellows for that linear goodness while gaming, but otherwise found nothing that I would change on it, at least as far as the keyboard itself is concerned... The included cable is another story. I can't find anything that the Pale Green switches sound quite like, they're leaps and bounds better than Cherry or Gateron Browns both sound and feel-wise. Maybe a bit thockier than even the notoriously thocky Boba U4T's after lubrication. These might be my new favorite switches by a pretty significant margin and I was 100% expecting to swap them out when I originally bought it lol. Seriously blown away for a $90 pre-built keyboard (Shout out Black Friday deals)... I think the only qualm I have with it is the poor quality USB-C cable that's included, but for the price that's a pretty marginal qualm and I immediately replaced it with another one that I had laying around anyways.

I bought a Magegee to get me by until I build my keyboard. It’s meh. Silicone poored it and insolated the bottom. Did tape mod and lazy lubed the switches. Feels okay. It’s okay for league of legends for a week or 2.

I was confused for a moment because it did not include these budget keyboards: [Amazing for the price:] Rainy 75 Chillkey ND75 [Not too shabby either:] YunZII AL75 Leobog hi75 Then I realized this video was from at least 1 year ago. Honestly with the possible exception of the Phantom+, most of the keyboards in this list are meh at best. Only the Phantom+ sounds passable stock in my opinion. I've personally tried the Royal Kludge models and my advice is "don't bother". For just a little bit more $ you can have an amazing sounding keyboard like one from the list above.

should have gotten the board i have the epomaker cidoo v65 v2 it is $130 and sounds amazing and sounds even better when you do simple mods like i did just stabs tape mod new keycaps and removed some foam it is full aluminum gasket mount and has a polycarbonate plate and switches with the best and most consistant pre lubing i have ever heard, felt and seen and the leds are south facing also has an apple quality box
