In case anyone is interested, I purchased the Sandgold Evo80, and given my seeming inability to find some proper backlit keycaps, I decided to try a set of MTNU Dolch from Novelkeys, and I am here to tell you, I am blown away by the result. Not only does the colors of the Dolch set fit like it was made for this board, I have not dropped even a smidge of the amazing sound of the Evo80, and so far I am really liking the MTNU profile keycaps. I only need to spend some time typing on it, to see if I truly prefer this profile, and how I will get along with non-backlit keycaps at night, but every other affected by new keycaps has been an absolute out of the park homerun! I wish I could post images in YT comments, because this thing is literally stunning!

I'm new to keyboards and building them in general but I'm not really a fan of the popping sound @0:16 - It sounds a bit loud and clacky for my taste. I like the smooth creamy sounds and tactle switches so far are my preference but then again I'm not gaming so I can understand why linears are more popular. I would not spend nearly 60-80 USD extra for a keeb that can be pulled apart easily. As luxurious as that is, like you said, how many times are we pulling our boards apart? Plus the dongle being inside the case cover is strange. You shouldn't have to pull your board apart every time you want to retrieve or put your dongle away.

It's a shame you didn't compare it to the RD75 as that's got the same ball catch system, and the same pogo pin magnetic connector instead of the ribbon cable and is cheaper... so then the only real difference is the exact number of buttons. I think the Evoworks compares less favourably to the RD75

Nice review. I like it has more RGB than the neo80, but damn those switches are loud as heck. I would have liked to hear the other switches to see how loud they were. Killer price point since it includes switches, keycaps, and assembly, especially for the feature set. Like you said, it's more for people who enjoy keyboards and want something easily that's better than what they already have, but don't want to think about anything when it comes to switches and caps.

@Switchandclickofficial , if you could, please, could you tell us what the keycap profile is, for the keycaps included on both the Evo80 and the Azoth Extreme? I am new to all of this, keyboards and keycaps, and I do not know what the profiles of those keys are. I have tried some OEM profiled keycaps, on both boards, and the included keys are much shorter, but from the diagrams I have found on the web, they appear to be shorter than the cherry profile as well, but that may be just my inability to properly measure them by site. Thank you, so much, in advance, for any help you might be able to provide.

So about the same as a Neo80 but with caps and switches and RGB... leaf springs look like a something new too though. Same case but different branding on it. Personally all my Qwertykey board are my favorites (2 Neo65s, Neo80, Ergo and QK75n). I didn't know about this one but with RGB it definitely peaks my interest. I have to wonder if the front is as low as the 65 or 80 as those are both super easy to type on without a wrist rest. Price is close but definitely cheaper if you don't want to switch out the caps / switches. Great review and thank you for bringing this to our attention! Always nice to see new S&C videos again!

That keyboard is excellent! But sounds HORRIBLE. Ruined. Really not sure why people want a keyboard that sounds like... anything, really... let alone a room full of people cracking their knuckles into a karaoke microphone like this one. _Maybe_ if you were a typist who was really into the actually typing (not _what_ you are typing)? _Maybe_ if you were a keyboard customiser who enjoys the actual art of customisation? _Maybe_ if you thought a keyboard _has_ to make _some_ noise, so why not a 'nice' one? Not a cheap keyboard and you'd have to spend a load more to make it quieter.
