I have a Lubitel 2. What is really special about the Lubitel is the Cooke triplet lens. Stop down to f5.6 and set the focus to 2 metres, with the background 6 metres away, and you have a superb portrait camera with the most amazing bokeh. Forget about sharp, with the Lubitel it becomes irrelevant.

I have the original GOMZ Lubitel 2 (pre renaming to LOMO) and despite being 30 years older than a 166, the only real difference is that all of the shutter speeds are very slightly slower.

I do wish though that they offered more speeds than just the select few it has.

The Polaroid Guy does this video and now everyone is making a Lomo Lib 166+. Who is paying $400 for this?

Come to Russia, they a sold here for almost free. There were millions of them produced in 1955-1981, not a rare artefact. I got the one I have for free.
