Eh, fellow Victorian here and I think I found the best performance escooter for the money. The Blade X. $2400 all in. Dual 1200 W motors 60 volt 28.4 Ah LG battery 30 amp controllers, Sine wave. 160mm hydraulic disk brakes A good bright headlight with red running lights annd bright turn signal lights. Had coil sprung suspension front and rear but I upgraded to cheap air sprung. I also upgraded the stem and handlebar because I had high end mtb parts but many escooters are not able to swap with standard bike parts so this is a bonus also. Catch was ordering from China and getting the runaround for 3 months. He didnt understand that if he just was honest about supply shortage I would have been fine also it did not shit with the piece that secured the main neck upright and when he did finally ship it it was incorrectly assembled requiring some dremeling. So theres a cost to trying to save money but in the end I am very happy and it flies up Mt.Doug no problem. Maybe will see you out there some time. cheers.

I haven't got a Segway to compare it to...but if it's the NInebot Max, then this will be a big upgrade...much faster of the line (higher top speed)...not really a fair comparison this has a bigger battery, suspension front and rear...it's a bit of a beast :) and the lights are pretty awesome :)

@@TimsElectric I asked a scooter importer into NZ. An array of battery chemistries, but never the longer life LiFePO4 chemistry. So 600-800 cycles, not 3000-5000 cycles. Hard to know. Other concern is ease to change tires. I heard this is issue.

At first customer service was great but have become insulting and dismissive. They are not standing by their product in my humble opinion. This video was shot after replacing a bent rotor and got a new tire. My channel also has videos showing the original state rear wheel and more mild wobbling of the front wheel. kzbin.infopVwkMVJyeYk?si=BeMx_jK7C621hemC
