Excellent review of this cheap little nailer. I've just purchased the same compressor that you have. I've always wanted a compressor, but really didn't fancy the noise - or the agro with the neighbours. I own a cordless 18 and 16g nailer, but they are just too big and clunky to work on smaller projects. Initially, the idea was to go with the 8 ltr Hyundai, but as the 24 ltr model was only 50 pounds more, I decided to go with that one, as it offered more possibilities. Just wondering how you are getting on with the combi a year on. Thanks for sharing.

Hi thanks very much for watching the video and taking the time to comment. That is the beauty of these little nailers being lightweight and smaller than other nailer. The compressor certainly won't be a noise issue I'm really impressed with the low noise output of the silent compressors. I did actually burn my Hyundai one out though running my laser cutter and it was running almost non stop which they are not designed for. Think most compressors are around a 60% load run time so changed up to a 100 litre version now with double pump motors. You can run small tools like the nailer all day long off a 50 litre though with no issues.

I went the other way- replaced all my air connectors with euro style. I find them much more reliable. I too bought a couple of cheap air nailers/staplers- unbranded. Work a treat- not sure how much better the named brands at several times the price can be...

I had considered changing over to the euro-style myself actually, sometimes these do play up. I just have so many things with them on I would need so many connections. these little nailers have really worked wonders for me. Thanks for watching and commenting Mike

Hello, Could ask a stupid question. I'm wanting tip my toes into the air compressor world. I wondered, I've got some skirting boards to fit in the house. 18mm skirting ( pine) which will be attached to a wall in a traditional UK house, so plaster board and breeze block. In your opinion, would this and it connected compressor be up to the job, just hold whilst the 1900 litre of no nails go off. Cheers.

I would personally say one of these would struggle with that, to be honest, as 18mm skirting alone will need a high driving force. If you check out my video for the cordless worx nailer, to be honest, these days, that's my go-to nailer. It has much greater control over deph penetration, and I use it a lot for stapling u shape staples into panels

Hi Smelly, Thanks, I've just ordered one. Could you tell me please what make, model & size of compressor it is (I think I heard you say it's a 24L). Thanks once again.
@SmellyCatCreations Жыл бұрын
Sure I use this compressor amzn.to/3WarILu I would like a 50L version at some point in the future but the 24l version is more than enough for the Brad nailer / stapler

Do you have to use a compressor for this or can you use cartridges instead?
@SmellyCatCreations Жыл бұрын
This one you need a compressor. My other video showing the worx one is electric and I have moved to that one more now

as for the pin just shove in a small bolt and nut it
@SmellyCatCreations Жыл бұрын
Yeah little M3 or M2 bolt should solve it. I have moved over to using my worx cordless nailer lately it's alot heavier but for doing jobs like my workshop roofing panels it offers much greater deph control

Could it be more effective?
@SmellyCatCreations Жыл бұрын
I'm sure it could be more effective, but for its super low value I don't think you can complain at what you get for the money.
