In the US, there are no regulations requiring manufacturers to have a minimum level of robustness or to provide parts. So, many of these things fail pretty quickly (flimsy fan blades snap off) and there are no replacement parts. So. these are essentially "Kleenex" devices: use once and throw away. Are things different in the UK (and EU)? If it's an issue, it's worth including in any review.

Probably a Stihl petrol blower. Even their cheapest offering (around £100 less than the Karcher here) would be a lot more powerful
