I still think you're better off with 2 spirits or even hotos in offhand vs +3 warcries since you'd be getting +4-6 to your werewolf when casting.

Ya I'm thinking a spirits are good budget options as the plus 2 all skill applys to the werewolf and lycanthropy. I don't know the exact numbers but the extra 4 skill to werewolf overall might be better than the +2 extra to warcries from the sticks.

It sucks when a stupid sorc or pally with p topazes helm and p topazes armor can clear faster than a fully decked out melee dude with GG gear :(

@@coryfessenden1102 Fun is incredibly subjective in Diablo 2 endgame. Sure you might be able to clear stuff solo with a fun build, but efficiency can be had while having fun if they bothered to buff certain playstyles and builds. I don't know about you, but there is nothing "fun" about a character that gets left behind or dwindled to near uselessness in an 8 party game.

They changed that in the new patch. Now there's 2 separate calculations. The old way and a new one. Which ever is faster is then applied.

I have a serious question, and I'm not sure I could test this cuz I don't own the equip atm. Best part of a WW Druid of course is Fury, and using Feral Rage hobbles you a little due to being a single hit attack. Crushing Blow helps soften this quite a bit, but I am wondering if a different mutli-hit skill would work, perhaps Zeal or something... or would the fact that you are in Werewolf form disallow using skills that don't belong to the shapeshifting tree? Passion runeword would allow access to Zeal, but I honestly have no clue if this theory would work or not.

I wish wolfhowl would get the pd2 treatment in d2r,fury would be Alot better than feral rage. Nonetheless its a really cool build that I've always liked,im running a brand-bonespear necrobear at the moment,and a kingslayer vengeance axe sorc;cross class oskill type builds have always been my favorite. My favorite character in 20 years of d2 has probably been my post-2.4 dual pheonix firestorm proccing mauler/geddon bear,he will be the first character Ive played in a long while worth taking to 99. Fast melee with significant aoe.

Nice man, did you make the kingslayer sorc work? I did it offline prior to Anni+Torch and it was so squishy. Perhaps I ought to give it another shot :D

@@Srga4pb oh yeah, theres different ways one can deal with the squish. Energy shield,teleport and a single point in frost nova are your friends. Since your damage isnt really physical use a holy freeze instead of a might merc. Beyond that,theres different approaches to building a vengeance sorc,like 1h vs 2h- 1 hand,dual dream is just a slower zeal sorc,so I dont really recommend that,but if one insists on 1h a stormshield will make you much tankier,and a pheonix shield adds alot of damage and gives a juicy redemption aura. I prefer 2h because of the way vengeance works,you will do alot more damage,and it's way more stylish-few things look as cool as an avengress w a glorious axe and a bonehelm. W 2h I'd add more points into energy shield and telekinesis than I might otherwise,and stack as much dr as i can-string of ears,crown of ages,and leviathan are all good choices.CoA and CoH are a great combo, nightwings is a cool idea,etc etc. I could go on and on,one of the things I like so much about the avengress is all the different ways you can build one,whether it be towards max damage or max defense or in between.

Serious question - could you build a trav farmer that utilizes wolf form instead of a beserk as a budget farmer. This would let you max find item/find potion and not beserk - letting you reap those early rewards. Once trav done - swap back to human and hork the corpses!?

Yes you can ,I have a wolfbarb Trav in season 1 before ladder. I manage to get a grief which makes him even better.

You also could put a bunch of points into dex for AR to open up your ring and ammy slot. You could use highlords,raven, fhr/res/str belt. But I have to say it... Lmao. If my friend was playing this build I would ask them why they would rather play this build over doing p8 splits with me 😆

You cannot use WW or any other barbarian combat skill in werewolf form.
