@Jim Bob's Arcade Yes, but is that the "optimal" HP? Under this whole video he never even gos under 6000 HP at all, no matter where you click, he is always on max HP. Someone said 10k HP and 26k defense in the comment section, but i just don't see the point. Against what would you need to go that far? Nothing? Looks like overkill to me. I know that being OP is cool but other than that?

Thank you for using Infinity for reducing enemy defences, I've done this for years and everyone said I was wasting an Infinity. Maybe now that a reputable source has done it people will wise up.

A lot of people just associate conviction as reducing light resists because of Infinity. It was a really nicely touch with Beast as an offhand also. Extra ar, damage, attack speed, str boost, and a few hard points in to Lycanthropy. Not bad considering it wouldn't be doing anything once in Werewolf form.

i mean... just because it works, doesn't mean its not a waste. That build would still work perfectly fine but maybe 10% slower without infinity. using 2 Ber runes for that on a character that is sub-ideal even with infinity is definitely a waste. It's like infinity on a Holy Fire - Exploding arrow paladin. Yes, it works, but it sure as hell isn't worth it.

As far as Ubers though infinity is negated through Uber meph but works on baal and Diablo, if you single out uber mephisto, use anything but infinity unless you're a paladin with a higher conviction aura level higher than 20 (infinity is 12, uber meph has 20 and negates the player character's conviction)

You should try this with a Phoenix shield and death zerker. It ups your damage, ar, and aoe as well as reducing enemy fire res making this build able to handle pretty much any content.

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see stat/char screen. Stats are usually self explanatory, but I like to see LCS dmg, res, AR, def, etc. to just get a feel for the build, and it would take literally 10 seconds to show/tell. Love the build, thanks for all the unique ideas!

Druid has no armor and resistance buffs either, like a barb does. This is potentially one of the tankiest builds in the game.

If you want to really be extra, you can stack plus to skills before turing werewolf and then switch gear but that is a huge pain in the ass.

If you play single player you should consider adding melee splash to jewels. It makes melee feel really fresh.

With so much HP, I don't think you need lifetap. Amplify damage or decrepify would make you kill ubers faster. Remember, minus physical resistance also increases the damage of each crushing blow proc. Laying on hands also works on non-smite attacks. Check out this d2jsp thread for some amplify damage uber builds. forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=79729369&f=87&o=0 I think with amplify damage (or even decrepify), you can probably find quite a few non-smiter setups that kill faster than the cookie cutter lifetap smiter build. Of course, an amplify damage smiter seems to still be the fastest.

Azurewrath for PI's, especially the wraiths and burning souls. And it keeps you from getting mobbed by them. It works well against non-undead as well, and Sanctuary looks so damn cool. It does become a pain in the ass to have to switch out, but very worth taking along or keeping on switch.

I have 3-5 Torches for all classes on PlugY, but none for Necromancer. At this point if I find a Torch that I already have better of I don't bother to keep it either. Also have 6 paladin-defensive and assassin-shadow skillers, but not a single necro-summon, only one paladin-combat, and so on. The Ubers are not really challenging, compared to the infinite power of RNG. 😞

Nice content as usual i would personally gear my merc for the crowd control though. Firstly id pick a nightmare defensive for the holy freeze. The helm i would use is delirium so when he is getting hit theres a chance he can trigger those lovely curses on it. Id go for reapers on weapon the slow down as well as physical immunity reduction is great defensivley and offensively plus its a nice source of life leech. An then for more survivability you can obviously battle orders and shout for more health, and defence. The armor id definitely go with treachery the 45 ias, fhr, and fade proc is just to good to pass. The merc wont survive ubers he dies even quicker on bot net due to summons so its pointless worrying about the very smart use of infy imo. Plus like you stated the superb single target damage of the build will sort out all bosses.

@@Dbrunski125 you know i forgot about that little bug where it makes the merc do weird things like disappear etc. I suppose dream could be used as an alternative the confuse on that an a bit of extra lightning damage to total damage output on the merc. Keep up the great content your a cut above the rest of a lot of other D2 content creators imo.

My werewolf barb is different from yours i run perfect wolfhowl last wish pb and beast pb also gloves are laying of hands armor is really expensive its a hybrid fort of bramble ap and boots are wartravs for extra life and stgh bug i also wear craft belt 24fhr 10 open wounds 80life duel res belt 28fr and 28lr rings are perf ravenfrost and angelic ammy ring inventory is 45life mastery gcs with 3 20 20 scs 10x torch anni let me know you're thoughts ty.

Just sounds like bragging to me. Dbs build is highly optimised and easy to obtain, exept infinity maybe. Ofc perfekt wolfhowl and a godly crafted belt is better, but that belt might take 3000 crafts and still dont get it.

Conviction on infinity works for all Ubers except mephisto, use literally anything else against him, his level is higher and cancels infinity. The only way you can have a higher conviction to affect Uber meph is with a paladin

Try it wirh a magic 4 sox phaseblade 40 ias with 4x 15/40 jewel. The ias will by 100 and it works very good i try it.

Evening. Got a fast question: Which druid spec is most viable for general solo play (pits, Diablo, Baal and Meph) considering I don't have Enigma or any other powerful runewords? Played mostly during 1.09 and have not had any druids at all after that patch. So the gear will look like it did back then, with Jalal's Mane and such.

From what I understand, Uber AI is stored on bnet servers, not the game files.Therefore, while the stats are correct, their behaviour on plugy is different, with the most noticeable difference being that they do not summon minions. From what I heard, ubers on bnet is much more difficult to fight than on plugy

I've been watching your videos and decided to subscribe. I played D2 LOD for a good number of years but haven't played in a long long time. Your videos inspired me to play again! My laptop took the install for D2 perfectly but when I went to upgrade it to the LOD expansion it will only get to 71% then asks me to insert the LOD disc 1 (which is weird since there is only one disc) and when I do...nothing happens. It stops during the copying of D2charac.mpq. I figured I'd outsmart it by manually copying that file into my D2 folder. Just in case I copied ALL mpq files over manually. And when I check ALL mpq files are there but the darn update fails every time. Same place. Any thoughts on how I can get around this so I can play? My old laptop is XP Windows and still runs like a champ.

Why would you even use the cd? I haven't had a cd reader for almost ten years now. Just go on your battlenet account and download it there already patched to the latest or close to latest version. You also have your CD keys there.

So in D2 you can cross-class if items grant you a skill of another class? D3 player here trying to get into D2 now. Looks cool as heck with the wolf form

Some runeword items can grant skills from another class. In this case he was using a 'Beast' runeword axe as his off hand weapon that grants both of the Druid skills 'Werewolf' and 'Lycanthropy'. When runeword items grant skills in this way they are treated as a skills that has been achieved through spending hard skill points, and thus they can benefit from items with '+ to all skills' and the Barbarian skill 'Battle Command'.

Kinda used to a hotbar for skills. Was trying the (F)unction keys but still have to press the skills another time then. is there a way to select and use alt skills with just 1 click? Doing Shout and Battle Orders and the defense debuff on mobs, Battle Cry Frenzy for attacking

No the uber events are non-canon. Throughout the timeline of Diablo games up til the point we are at now Lilith was sealed away in the Sin Wars by the Archangel Inarius the one she birthed the Nephalam and created Sanctuary with. Its been confirmed she is to return in diablo 4.
