Suggestion: for engine-bay cleanups, get yourself a cheap, 1-gallon plastic pump sprayer for the de-greaser. This will make quick work of the application, saving the hand exercise, and the wand will get in all the hard to reach places not easily reached with a bottle sprayer. Trust me, this will be your go-to method for de-greasing engine bays prior to pressure washing! 👍

My son had the back up light issue on his ‘86 Monte Carlo. Turned out to be the switch. On his car, it was a horseshoe shaped switch sitting on top of the steering column. Easy peasy!

my wife and I have been married since 1979. I watch all your videos but she don't. She did watch one of the motorhome videos and like it. Well, she watch the last Wildcat video all the way to the end because she had a 1969 Grand Prix and really liked it. So much more to the story but, the reason I'm sending you this message is because she wants to make an off of $4000 for the Wildcat. We live in North Central Illinois and it would be about a 14 hour drive to get to you. I do have some physical constraints so it would be a bit of a long trip for me but, I'm willing to give it a shot. Anyway, let me know and God bless you and your family.

If your V-belts are squealing, give tbem a spray with silicon lube, soon quietens them down and, contrary to logic, they don't slip. Another tip, spray copius amounts of WD40 into the front of your alternater with the engine running around 2000rpm, helps keep it lubed and stops the brushes from seizing up👍🏻👍🏻 That is one really lovely car, love the colour, love Buicks❤ 🏴🇬🇧

I was 22 when this car was built so these were commonplace back then. It's unfortunate that so many people today think a full-size car is a Taurus or Honda or Toyota. A lot has been lost since then. Thank you for a great job on the Buick.

I absolutely LOVE the thorough work and attention to detail that you fellas have! NICE JOB!! Something to consider - when you have different metals such as steel bolts going into aluminum timing cover, the steel and the aluminum react with each other and create electrolosis - which creates a white powdery corrosion as it eats away the aluminum and seizes the steel shank of the bolt. To prevent this reaction, a fella can coat the bolt with a thick coat of copper anti-seize lubricant. Hope that tip helps you guys in the future! Thanks once again for another GREAT video!

I love to see just a 'regular car' get rescued like this Wildcat. This was "everyday transportation" that never gets love. Everyone wants the magic '57 chevy 2 door to customize, but no one remembers that there was a '57 chevy 4-door that Mom and Dad took the kids to church in. If I had $4k to burn, I'd be all over this one. Its a GREAT survivor!

Buicks, and Pontiacs, IMHO are the best the General had to offer...really a step above the rest for engineering, performance, quality, and style. Buick for a longtime went their own way with drivetrains, construction, features. This is a super nice car...hope whoever buys will love it and take to where it needs to go
@FalconXE3023 ай бұрын
That car is "America"...as an Aussie I love it. If I came and lived in the USA... I'd have to daily that kind of car no matter what. I enjoy watching your work, and your attention to "the detail that matters" in your work. Survivors are where it's at... they have character and even though you might not know the stories they carry, by keeping them as survivors they have that aura of the many stories they carry. Walking up to them, that old smell, the little marks and dings all tell a story. Fully restored they become an empty shiny vessel... that looks awesome but it's history is destroyed in the restoration process.
