I bought a long wheel base exact same color back in 2002. It had been hit in the left rear bad. I stripped the drive train and swapped it into my dad 86 short wheel base that was 300 in-line 6 and 3 on the tree. I miss that truck. I built it from the ground up. Don’t do drugs kids because that is why I don’t have it any more. I get sick to my stomach every time I think about what I lost. Been clean for 15 years now

Interesting watch, not something I'd save. The last good looking Ford truck was a 1979. I had a 78 F-150 with a 460. I blew a power steering hose taking a 90° turn at 50 mph (a fella one year younger did it in his Ford truck so I had to attempt it) successfully I might add.

Whats happening with the Comet GT The car is clearly rusty all over. However is the rust only a layer on the entire cars surface due to the fire or is it rusting though. If it's mostly just on the surface. Why not do something to prevent it from rusting away?

Those trucks were made way better than today's junk...my 2001 f2shity 7.tree has 780 thousand miles all original. Still stroking and purrs like a kitten...been driving it for 23 years now....try that dodge or Chevy

Excellent video Budget Buildz Mike :) also be nice top the Air Conditioning pump also see if hold recharge and no leaks to on Fluid too! Great find for that year of pick up and nice condition so far! Hopefully see more videos soon too also watch fix up more! Also put grey bottle of STP Total Treatment fuel injection and carb cleaner in fuel tank too each month plus 89 or higher octane gas in too ! Don't forget change PCV Valve on Valve cover too!

These Bullnose and the Bricknose F150's are becoming a popular build because they are the last of the "Cheap" trucks. Idk what you paid for this but I bought a 1981 couple months ago for $800 that was in just about the same shape only the paint was worse because... well... Arizona, that's why, the heat just bakes the paint off. This one will make a good daily driver.

After 1965 Ford stopped putting rear pumps in their automatic transmissions and the other major auto manufacturers followed suit. So in nuetral, nobody checks the fkuid as no lubrication is being pumped thru the trans. The stick is stamped with check-in park at ldle.

All ford trucks had motor craft spark plugs as original the gray paint is probably antisieze so I would say they are not original
