If you've played The Shapeshifting Detective (another FMV game from the same studio), Poe & Munro feature in that game too, their radio show bookends each of the chapters and you get to visit their radio station during the case!

Great review. Like some others here, I’m not drawn to FMV games, but occasionally curious to get an overview. I don’t recall whether this one is from that Wales studio; they seem to make lots of these. Not surprising that there’s a steady audience for this type of content. I do see the appeal, but I guess I have different motivations for gaming.

There seems to have been a resurgence of these kinds of games recently, not my cup of tea but it's always cool to have more choice when it comes to our favourite hobby. Also, if that was an attempt at a British accent at the start...

I'm not sure what review you were watching, but the video quality was pretty good. Certainly not 20fps, and im pretty sure the only stutter was for player action in decision making. Was there a particular scene that stood out to you as particularly poor quality?
