I'm looking at your older videos for inspiration. You've did a whole life makeover. I would love to hear more about this type of suggestions. Like how did you keep it up and any books or techniques that helped.

I struggle with my car so much! I really dislike my car and I've never treated it well. Now that I know financially I need to hang on to it until it doesn't run anymore, I've been more motivated to maintain it. I know this video is from the beginning of the year but you've motivated me to wake up early and get to work on cleaning it out!

I know this is an old video but I love the message behind this - about taking pride in the things that we have and having gratitude for all that we have :) thank you

This hit home. Going to clean my car n keep it clean. God has blessed us with things. We need to treat it like a new blessing. I would never keep a new car messy.

This inspired us to clean up and organize our car!! Chris actually owns the car (one debt we surprisingly don't have), but we won't treat it like the wonderful little friend that it is. Your car is adorable. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I added a plastic grocery bag hanging from the handle on the passenger's side. I just grab the bag when it gets full. This has helped keep my car tidy. You don't need this now, but for future needs, check out thrift stores or yard sales for storage. The least expensive thrift could be Goodwill by-the-pound if available. Also, dumpster dive boxes. Those banker type boxes are great, and you can decorate them with contact paper.

WOW!!!! SO inspirational!!! Thank you SO MUCH for posting. I'm in the same boat as you as far as appreciating what you have, while saving to replace. Totally believe that your surroundings are a reflection of your interior life. One step at a time - your clean car is one step farther into your clean, debt-free life. You go, girl!!! ETA: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

Def a good idea to keep it as clean as possible. I don't have a car now but when I have, and living in a city, I never wanted to leave anything in it. Didn't want to encourage anyone looking in it, you know?

I am SO bad about keeping my car clean, it drives me crazy! Luckily since Jerod works from home and gets bored sometimes, he occasionally tells me to take his car so he can clean mine, lol. I hope you are able to keep yours clean and organized, and hope you had a great birthday! :)

The tool container you bought is made in USA I noticed. I need to do a car overhaul also! It is soon cold here that I may have to do it next week when it is not 6 to 11 degrees in the am.

***** Ha! There's no way I'd could be convinced to do anything in that kind of weather unless there was a gun held to my head -- and probably not even then. The toolbox has really held up -- and I didn't see the US sticker, awesome!

so true.most people buy things and neglect to keep the items up.I knew a guy who was forever buying game consoles.controllers.games.threw all over the floor.scratched to unusable.game consoles full of dirt.dust.pop.like legitimately dump full two liter bottles of pop in his game consoles.same with the controllers.but he's good with money.sorry.don't see how.a controller is on average $15 each.depending on what system you have.games can be from a quarter each up.the unit itself runs a couple hundred.so having to shell out all that money week after week would indicate you are not good with money.a former friend is all about luxury brands.designer.but rids himself of what he has time and time again.begged us for a winter coat.we did have spare clothes.I said no.not our problem that this fool sells.trades.gives away.or throws away all his belongings.
