I will never understand why the runner can straight up spear the defensive player to the point of injury with his helmet without a flag but if the defensive player barely nicks the runners helmet with his helmet then flags come from everywhere.

The punch to the face mask? I get that they are aiming for the ball, but in other situations a punch will draw an ejection, I think if you completely wif on the ball but hit the player it should be treated the same.

It's really not.. all they have to do is slightly change their position on the tackle.. I get sometimes the offensive player lowers their helmet and, in that case, it should be called on offense but a lot of the times, these defensive players are literally leading with their helmet.

Me watching most of these hits: The league is soft, football isn't what it used to be. Me (Vikings fan) watching a Vikings player get hit: THAT WAS ASSAULT, EJECT THAT DEFENDER FOR THE SEASON

While those hits are entertaining, there are consequences to those hits that some of you idiots that are mentally like a caveman won't get the concept of and you're one of those people. Those hits that those players take do lasting damage. The league is trying to protect the players to prolong their careers to make the sports safer. All around you don't need big brutal. A** hits to enjoy a football game. Think of the person receiving those hits for a second. It's not always about. A Gladiator battle on the field. There are a lot of long-term health consequences to take a nose. Big hits in football. All that money you make aint worth nothing. If you're in a hospital bed as a vegetable later on a life because of all the hits you took in your career, stop it. Think about the players for a second instead of about what you want

0:12 not a penalty. The defender was attacking the ball. Had the ball been in the receivers gut that's where the hit would have been. It's getting harder and harder to apply hits on the ball without penalty in the NFL.
