I remember that commercial!! A shame she didn’t get more public boost and attention for the deserved acknowledgement from Brian Setzer!

I recorded a demo for her around 1985. I've been looking on the internet for anything about her and FINALLY I found it! Pam Jennings

Cordell Jackson! She set up her own recording studio and record label in Memphis in the early 50's. Tav Falco and Alex Chilton were fans and covered her songs. Here's a great clip of her from 1989: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZO1h4OPibpqjtE

I’m so glad you shared! She’s my grandmother’s cousin or first cousin. Her studio was Moon records/studio (I don’t remember exactly) because they wouldn’t let her record at Sun Studios because she was a woman. So she stuck it to the man. I’m immensely proud of her❤❤❤🎸

How does one "bronch" a chord?
@laceandribbonsviolin4 ай бұрын
I think she said “botched that chord” because then she said “I’ll show you how to do it”
