Great Question. The Super Cruiser features a design influenced by the Rotax Helicon of former Buell offerings, the oversquare engine 1190cc 72 degree V-twin makes a sky high 13:1 compression ratio on pump gas. Whatever you've read about EBR engines since 2014 holds true to today, except for the Super Cruiser they had to shed some size to make the engine fit into the new frame which reduced 10hp in performance according to the enginer I interviewed in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJnHe4mDj9iFpK8

I would put Buell at the top of my list just for this feature. It should be available for all motor vehicles and the fact that it is not is Criminal. If Buell builds in full Diagnostics with every bike it would be a game changer. People are sick of bringing their bike to a dealer for every single engine light and service. It's a racket.

Did put down the $1000.00 but have concerns about what the final version (production scale) bike will look and sound like. The current exhaust looks and sounds awful IMHO. They are obviously making lots of changes to address costs, rider input and 50 state requirements. Bummed to see they are a bit behind schedule and a little annoyed we don't know how much more it will cost at the "dealership" The good news is the bike is a great idea and should sell like hotcakes if done right. Worth giving them a chance for now.

You’re only out $250 with your two deposits at this point and the cash flow will help them make the first few final version production bikes due to be released next February. I think they call it the Halicon engine. Originally 1125 cc's Throwing away all of those wheels into a Dumpster made me cringe. They were made in China no less. I bought a 2008 Ulysess in 2022 with 15,000 miles in it. The first thing that failed on me was rear wheel bearings. When I went to install a new rear tire I noticed one wheel bearing was dry. I was going to order new wheel bearings, but the wheel bearing failed the first time I rode it after installing a new rear tire. I searched the Bull Blogs and learned that Buell upgraded to 3 larger wheel bearings from two small ones. There are two wheel bearings on the belt side of the wheel. Buell sold a Kit with a new rear wheel, 3 wheel bearings.. spacers a new axle and seals all under one part number. I managed to find this rear wheel upgrade kit at an NOS warehouse. They have old John Deere and Caterpillar parts too. With sales tax and shipping it cost me close to $800.00 .. I thought it would be nice to not have to worry about rear wheel bearing failures on a trip .

Indian Classic or Triumph Bobber are £13k. They should lower their prices to those of their competitors in order to sell as much as possible and thus make a quick profit, so that they have enough money for other projects or to refresh existing elements to today's standards. At the start, they want to make as much money as they can and this is not a good plan at all, especially looking at the kind of history Buell has.
