Oh damn! I just noticed the laced wheel update. I've been dying for tubeless for my 18 heritage and nothing I feel looked right or were just too heavy for me to get past. They might have just stopped me selling trading my bike. Finally some good wheels!!

Motorcycles are not a priority for young people in this economy. Employment, rent, food and savings are a greater concern.

Good review. Thinking about trading for a Fat Boy. I'm kind of shocked they let the guy in front of you go on the demo ride in a t-shirt. That's kind of unheard of. Demo rides usually strictly require full gear.

I got a Harley this year used but it the worst bike I have ever had. The suspension is below par after having a BMW and a Ducati Harley is not that good. Looks nice that’s it

the HOG group i was a part of was so mundane and milk toast. Always took the same boring formula, rehashed routes, ride to lunch, blah blah. Rarely offered longer trips and the one I took with them was so unenjoyable and highlighted how many of them cannot ride safely.

IMO the biggest problem with Harley Davidson is the price, my first Harley was a night train and a year later I got a street glide, both bikes were bought used and combined I’ve got less $$ money in them than the cost of a new touring Harley, And every dealer will try to tell you to start small with a sportster and upgrade to a bigger bike when you get more experience, but to me once you’ve gotten what I consider a bar hopper and a touring bike there’s really no reason to go back to the dealership to get a brand new model when the only thing that’ll be different is the paint and maybe a couple extra hp, definitely not worth spending upwards of $30k for. I love the the brand and would never try to talk someone out of buying one but when you can buy 3 used Honda motorcycles off marketplace for the price of a used softail at a dealership there’s a problem. No everyone is a diehard fan.

The value destroys harley. Low rider S w 180hp would be over 30k

I’ve been riding for almost 25 yrs. Motorcycles are toys. They’re our hobbies not our necessity’s. Harley’s are like boats , campers, etc. If you want new riders figure out how to keep the price down!!! It’s not rocket science.

We need to eliminate the EPA standards, and let the motorcycling industry get back to building some common sense pricing. I'll never be buying a new Harley-Davidson.

The Outlaws MC being founded in 1935 like the men who founded HAMC IN 1948 would have served in WW2 some of the original Outlaws WW1 even. The bikeriders begins about 1964 I dont know if the real Johnny Davis was a veteran but most of those guys wouldve been WW2 or Korea Vets. That group of men were mentally tougher overall then the boys who went to Vietnam. Also they didnt for the most part use hard dope. You factor in the particular circumstances around Vietnam and all the drugs you get a group of guys who feel the worlds against them so they were more likely to do heinous things. To them if the American Dream wasnt worth it then anything goes

Dang! Yeah I pretty much identify with everything you said in this video. After 4 years I’m at a crossroads whether to keep my bike or get a sport tourer which would more suit my riding style. Or just give up the hobby all together and stay alive. 🤷‍♂️

I live in the northwest and bought my first bike 4 years ago. A M8 softail. After going through the MSF and endorsement. Within my first day or two I had come to a stop on a hill. And I was like …oh 💩!! Not ONCE did they mention stopping and taking off from a hill. 😂 It was a real eye opener.

I think they did a good job on these, For a good long while now the modern Harley's are the best looking bike in the world. No odd shapes and weird lines on any of these, They are keeping the American styling and leaving off the Europeon uglyness.

Bring back the Harley Deluxe Softail.

I was looking at Harley Davidsons for the first time because I want something pure. Sad to say I don't want one now, rider modes and USB ports. I'm just not interested in an appliance.

Where I had lived, I had a Suzuki cruiser (C109R) and a few times would ride with a small group with some of those people riding Harley's. In time, I found out that the "hard core" Harley riders wouldn't ride with me due to the fact that I had a Japanese bike. I ended up riding solo. In that area, the vast majority of HD riders, went to certain bars and only rode with certain groups. Bar hoping was what most did and of course their once a year Strurgis trips. Fair or not, I found the majority of HD riders to be total jerks. The stereotypical HD rider: Leathers, rocker panels, tough rough looking (same for women), hard core die or ride to me became laughable. I'm 61 now and bought a Honda Africa Twin. I think you can sell an image only so long.

Since they killed the evo sportster they should have kept the 107 softail standard priced it about $12000 and have a good entry level Harley. I don't think they are selling any nightsters or sportster S

Sad with all these updates they just finally got to the level of every other bike on the market now and the cheapest bike is basically 20k with their ridiculous 11.99 intrest rates. At least we might be able to still buy a used bikes thats within reason.

I like what they finally did with the LRST but the new price's are out of the question. Maybe in 3-5 years if I get rid of my TC-SG a used 2025 low rider ST could interest me down the road.

you do realize some of the grey beards dont dig all that electronic crap especially when you got guys gonna finance 30 to 50 grand out the door,sheeet 20 Gs cash is bad enough for two wheels dude.And then charging extra for black,they gotta by high.And funny thing is most buyers dont even get attached to the bike and then dump"em after a couple of years or when they need tires.

The Heritage has new spoke wheels. They changed where the spokes connect I looks really cool how they did it.

No chrome option on the Heritage terrible. Even the bikes that have a chrome option the front end is still black. All rims are black. Chrome is not back. Not impressed.
