Went to Cuba as a tourist in 2016. Our resort had a small group of musicians who played at various locations around the complex. It was different to see and hear 6 guys standing together all playing acoustic instruments, as a small group of spectators gathered. Cigar smoke, rum, and great musicians. Can’t wait to get back.

@@CheyenneKid uhhh you realize Ry has always lived in the United States, right? For 75 years, right? In California…. Pretty much in the same town until he moved to a different town in Cali about 7 or 8 months ago… but yeah… he left America. 😂 🤦‍♀️ Traveling and making music is not equivalent to leaving one’s country because they don’t like what it offers. He’s not an expatriate In fact I just saw him last June with Taj Mahal in San Francisco. They have an album together and performed 2 shows at a venue in San Francisco because “he doesn’t like what ‘America’ offers.” 🙄
