was up there 3 years ago. Met Joe and Mikey and Stella. What a great bunch of people! What you see is what you get. Yellowknife is very interesting city. Loved it. Got to sit in a DC3 that flew paratroopers on D Day. One of the high lights of this pilot's life.

I'm guessing they hammed it up for the sake of drama. "Let me open that gate for you" "You know what would be dramatic? If you didn't have the key and mikey had to break in" Just like the drama at the soapbox car race where the steering wheel broke and they produced it the same way they would if the kid was in a life or death situation. It's all to make a good show.

I have watch many of these videos by this company and really have to ask the question as to why the use of what are very outdated planes to say the least. The older these planes get the more prone to failure they become, in an area that screams of dangerous flights. Cold weather really is a problem for aircraft regardless of there age, so it stands to reason to be up to dates as you can go. The atitude of getting things as cheap as you can go, even buying aircraft unseen before purchase is after all asking for trouble. The one thing that stood out in this video was the care given to those who work there, talk about cheap, this took the buscuit, and can only be describes as a pig sty, and leads to the question of is the pay there as bad as the living conditions??????
