Bulk buy if you're in a position to do so, anything from your carbs (pasta, rice, oats, bagels) to protein or fats (protein powder, nutbutters) to micros (canned or frozen veggies.) Fatty protein also brings in the calories, like 80/20 mince, eggs, frozen or canned fish, whole chicken etc. Carbs aren't the enemy as long as you're using them. Investing in a big freezer can be made worth it with a few killer sales. Most of my buddies bulk cheaper than most people live since it's just that kind of shit washed down with some sauces. The gym set up I have access to is my buddy's CrossFit gym, so my workouts are dumbbells, barbell and body weight, with no machines or cables at all, so far I've put on 10 pounds in 5 months, I firmly believe in an "ol' school way" I believe that with the limits I have to work harder than someone in a modern gym, my diet is literally rice, veggies, fruit, a meat of some kind, protein shakes, creatine, multivitamins, 1-2 cheat meals a week(pizza mainly), a low calorie sweet snack, about a gallon of water a day, hotsauce and garlic. I love the content, y'all are taking a different approach than most influencers which I feel makes you guys more entertaining, time for my pre workout and shake and AM training routine

An important factor you may not be considering is that milk, beef, and cheese prior to the 1960's was organic and pasture-raised. Factory farming and heavy usage of pesticides really took off in the 1960's and increased until the 1990's. This may impact your results significantly

Phillip Mullis Im willing to bet most people’s assumptions of their liquid intake is actually much lower than reality. A gallon of water alone is hard to pull off everyday. Not to mention the additional 6,000 calories of hardy food these guys need. The Buff Dudes are probably bigger than 99% of people in the comment section and you can see how difficult just one of those tasks are. Rehydrating from sweating all day isn’t what these guys were doing.
@jonathansnyder86864 жыл бұрын
Phillip Mullis haha nice try my guy. You don’t know anything about me but try working parties on deployments. I also stated sweating all day on a job site isn’t the same as slamming gallons of water in the gym. Maybe everyone missed that part since I guess our egos are on display in the KZbin comment section.

So.... Only slightly related, but I wanted to agree with you about wanting water instead of your milk! When I was in labor with my first kid it honestly felt like running a marathon. My midwife kept telling me to drink milk or coconut water to get some sugar so I could keep going, but all I wanted was water! I finally chugged about a quarter gallon of coconut milk and push my baby out less than 20 minutes later! (No meds, seriously did feel like when I'd run a marathon a few years earlier.)

I was just thinking about the exact opposite of this diet. Like what is the minimum traditional food you can consume and what is the maximum dietary supplement you can. I mean there are so many supplement now days for gains and for fat burning. So, *can you do a "supplement diet" ?* Like meal replacement formulas, all-in-ones, creatines, fat burners etc. One of you could be on gaining mass diet, the other of fat burning(actual topic in the summer, could result a lot of views 😉) (In a safe way for you, of course)
