Fantastic treatment of a topic that can easily lead to total confusion on behalf of the student; you nailed it though. I watch a LOT of science videos and I'm sure this is the best out of the dozens on buffer solution chemistry that are on KZbin. Oh, and you might get a kick out the fact that you're helping someone 11 time zones from the UK (in Hawaii)....the internet & YT is amazing. Thanks for creating such great content; the prep. work you put in to tightly edit the script really stands out.

Ethanoate ion from CH3COONa can further react with water to form CH3COOH CH3COO- + H2O --> CH3COOH + OH- Does it affect the pH ?

Great question! By adding a basic solution to the buffer, such as sodium hydroxide (NaOH) or ammonia (NH3) :)
