A very happy new year to you all! So there's a little bit of good news and a little bit of sad news. Sad news...The buffets are closed; the good news, I was able to find a great seafood brunch right down the street and it gets even better! Not only are the dish after dish of great seafood and and brunch favourites, but it you're still hungry, you can get unlimited fresh shucked pacific oysters.
But as good as the food the and service was, it was the company and being able to spend time together that made it special. Wishing you all a great and healthy new year!

Most amount of oysters eaten at 14:34. My once saw my Ph.D. advisor eat 84 oysters in one sitting. It was at a restaurant oyster night where they flew in oysters from BC, PEI and Texas. Each region of the coast had a different taste to each oyster.

Instead of closing I hope the buffets go back to table service. It was kind of nice staying at the table but getting to order unlimited. People are bunched up in the lines like little sardines again and I didn't realize how much I really hated it until it came back.

Happy New Year, Tim! The brunch looked yummy as usual. Love the way you served your mother and uncle...says a lot about your upbringing and respect you show your elders!
