Bugera 6262 tube head sound test - Neogeofanatic (Full HD)

For this test I use my 4/12 Marshall cab (I forgot the exact reference) and Red Alert, with Dimarzio Tone Zone and Evolution. I also use a 2007 USA Standard Fender Strat with original pickups ^^

They and Jet City, arguably are the best bang for your buck tube amps out right now.

The 6262 is modeled after a Peavey 6505 amp while the 333xl is modeled after a Peavey Triple XXX/JSX, basically, you won't get the same "growl" out of these two amps. I owned both of them and I personally preferred the 333xl, more tight low-end and chunk but seems you can't get the lovely crunch the 6262 has out of it.

The Bugera 6262 and 333XL heads are under 600 bucks in France (about 550 euros). Considering how brutal they sound, it's almost a gift to us guitar players. Honestly, the 333xl kills one or two channels of a Mesa Dual Rectifier, I played both amps live/studio and this is my conclusion: Bugera are a great value in terms of tone.

Salut Nono ! J'ai pour habitude de ne pas trop trop apprécier Bugera (je ne suis pas tout à fait d'accord avec leurs principes mais bon, ça ne rentre pas en compte lorsqu'on veut juger objectivement ce que leurs machines crachent), mais je dois avouer que ton 333 me plaisait bien. J'ai testé le 6262 chez un pote et j'ai pas du tout accroché. Par contre, leur Trirec qui sort bientôt promet d'être MONSTRUEUX. Si un jour t'as l'occasion de le tester, fonce! Joli test en tout cas, have fun :P

I've played on 6260 and it was SICK! 6260 is the same amp as 6262, but 6262 have eq for each channel.

@ellbrek depends on what tone your looking for, I personally don't care for the 333XL, it just isn't my cup of tea, but as for the Marshall JCM2000 VS Bugera 6262 I like the tone of the Marshall for clean, and really really dirty, while I prefer the 6262 for everything in between.

@nicobrur j'ai eu plusieures fois la reflexion de gars qui disent que la MAO tuent la musique, alors bon pour ce test j'ai laissé le micro de la cam :) mais pour entendre cette tete avec un bon son, il suffit d'écouter ma derniere video de William Sheller, je l'ai utilisée ;)

@NeoGeofanatic Tu sais, c'est peut-être la qualité du son, un peu moins bonne que d'habitude (ça grésille un peu), mais pas grave, perso, j'écoute avec un casque, et c'est super, limite, on a l'impression d'être en face de toi! C'est moi, ou je trouve cette tête encore plus convaincante que la 333XL?

Yeah it sounds great but for the components quality there's no secrets you got to pay a little more , you'll have more reliability with a 5100iii even if Bugera sounds good , remember that Behringer is behind Bugera and i've seen multiple Behringer stuff break and malfunction I'd say go for peavey unless you really can't afford it take bugera

RetrockGamers people I know PERSONALLY with BUGERA have never had issues. Peavey,EVH all that stuff is MADE IN THE FAR EAST ANYWAY so why OTHER OVERPRICED COMPANIES put out this stigma about BUGERA is cause THEY'VE BEEN EXPOSED. If you change the tubes(cheap,bad sounding ones) the feedback will be way less... And the sound will get much better... The 333xl has an awsome cruch channel though...
