Hey guys, check out my full demo of the Bugera G20 Infinium Class A tube amplifier head!
#bugera #amps #g20infinium #guitaramp #demo
This little monster is a versatile beast, has a wide range of tones, from the cleanest of cleans to full-on saturated gain and everywhere in between.
I was really impressed with all the sounds I got from this diminutive tone machine. I was rather surprised by the quality of the emulated lineout and the reverb isn't bad either, you get a lot of bang for your buck with this little tube head.
Big thanks to the guys at Bugera Amps and Music Tribe for sending me this to play with.
Hope you enjoy the demo, let me know what you think?

I just bought one and replaced the ecc83 tubes with Mullard 12ax7. Holy crap this thing is pure metal. And the best part is the Horizon Precision Drive pedal up front. It adds just enough gain to make this match any amp gain wise. Super tight, string definition etc. All for less than $600. With my 4x12, I can gig anywhere. Awesome playing 👍

When I bought my Bugera G20 I did exactly what you did here , I should’ve KZbin it for others - oops!!! I’ve never look back since owning this G20 w/2-1x12s Bugera cabinets. Factory tubes are so good you don’t need pedals but I caved in to get Full Bore metal pedal for different tear your ears off tones and this amp keeps on ticking!!!

I will say that this would be true winner if they re-work this amp a bit further. It needs: Better reverb. True two-channel, where the clean uses the tone stack or has its own available settings. And, make the "morph" dial a bit more dynamic, or add a switch for it. On the other hand, a Mooer pre-amp pedal through the effects loop is just AMAZING with this amp (I forgot to mention in my post below). I have both the Diezel and 5150-styled pedals from Mooer and this amp becomes something else entirely when you pipe those pedals through the effects loop.

I've been doing alot research into Bugera's V22 and G20 amps, I want an amplifier that'll give me great clean tones, but will also give me some raunchy distortion as well. I think might have to purchase this one as it does both, really well and it's fairly affordable.
@benedykt123313
@benedykt123313 4 жыл бұрын
You might be better off with a decent clean amp with one or more good overdrive/distortion pedals. The issue with amps like this is that the EQ is set just right on either the clean or the overdrive channel, rarely ever on both. You don't want to be fucking around with EQ settings every time you switch channel.

I’ve heard that Bugera uses some sub-par electronic components, but I’ve never seen anything to prove that either. When you consider how inexpensive these are and how great they sound it seems like it would be a pretty good option for someone that doesn’t have a lot of money. Personally, I’m impressed with what I’m hearing here! BTW: great smooth playing style! It just hit me that another video on the interior components would be a great one to show the public, although it would be a bit of a hassle. Just a thought... Thanks for putting this up.

I have had this G20 for three years now. It is a very good amp, and the sounds are decent. It takes pedals very well, and is probably the best thing that it does. It has probably the weakest reverb I have ever found in an amp, and when I do use this amp I push the Tri-Reverb pedal through the effects loop. The gain sounds out of the box were ok, until I swapped the tubes out for some different ones. I settled with a Mesa 12ax7 at V1 and a Genalex Gold Lion at V2. I have also played the amp with both EL34s and later on 6L6 tubes, and the character of the amp changes quite a bit between the two types. It is a decent amp, but the second you stand it up next to a better head, it loses out quickly. I have a Peavey Valve King 20H and it kills this Bugera in terms of tone. Also have a Egnater Tweaker 40 and that one crushes both of those. lol. If you are shopping for a low-watt amp, check out the Joyo Bantamps. I have the Meteor, the Zombie, and the Jackman. They are amazing amps and are easy on the wallet.

Man, this is the best demo of this amp so far... I wonder how it sounds cranking the clean channel. I'm a strat player (blues) I'm about to get one of these to pair with a Marshall head. The clean channel sounds really glassy. Really wonder how it sounds with the volume almost cranked. Congrats

How does it take pedals in the front? And does it use clipping diodes or transistors as part of the gain stage like the Blackstar? Curious because what ever it is in the Blackstar adversely affects its ability to take pedals or respond to volume roll offs on the guitar. Thanks, nice review for sure.

I've owned a V22 combo and this thing was loud enough for in a band and stayed clean. It didn't change tonewise cranked up like some amps do (Hotrod Deluxe 3...). How does this amp perform cranked up? Is it loud enough and does it keep it's great tone?
