Got one myself 3yrs + ... it’s totally a all around great amp. Foot switch is really solid. I dig the reverb , USA/British tones it has as well .. I’ve recently added the Bugera (brand) attenuators @ $100 ( great investment) and I’ll have all my dials on my G20 at 12’o clock with attenuator at low watt settings and BAM 💥... great tones flying at myself not 1 but 2 Bugera 🔊🔊80watt turbo sounding speaker cabs. Btw : my low volume matches my some what loud tv volume level and So .. no one bitches when I put my time in playing guitar with more power pushing from my amp....🤘🎸🤘

Thank you for the demo brother. These are great sounding valve amps at a great price. I think I am leaning toward the G5 because of the power attenuator.

Just grabbed one on a whim. Didn't even realize it had a headphone emulator, which is awesome. I only have solid states at the moment. One is a marshall from the 80s that when it works sounds gorgeous but is fussy. Your demo sounded great . I was a little worried i wasted my time, but it's going to sound just as good, probably better than the marshall. It's nice to have a non paid review to rely on. Thanks.

Yes I did and they completely different Thr V series is supposed to be more vintage like Fender Hot Rod, Vox I think you can find all those kind of Vintage sounds on that Series The G series is aimed to sound more Hi Gain like jcm 800 or Mesa

@@guitarhacks_it2651 German brand, Music Tribe, headquartered in the Philippines, and manufactured in their own campus in China, and sometimes using additional parts sourced in Japan, Korea, or Taiwan, but like 99% of the parts in Bugera are sourced from their parent company or other companies under the Music Tribe umbrella. This is also true for TC Electronic, TC Helicon, Behringer, Midas, Klark Technic, and more. Obviously, they've bought some brands that they originally supplied the parts to, based in Holland and Denmark and UK. Not all of their products are amazing, but when they're on point, competition beware.

Bugera should pay you; because of this video I'm really considering buying this amp. Where I live there's a great offer for a used Blackstar HT100 Stage MKI (just a little more expensive than a new G20), but that seems to be an overkill. Do you think this amp would be enough for rehearsals? We're somewhere between rock and metal with a very loud drummer. I'm not worrying about gigs, cause they mic up the cabs nearly everywhere nowadays, but at rehearsals I'll need the raw power. You have a new subscriber. :)

@@Evowar05 I live in Hungary and there were a few ones between 340-400 euros, depending on the condition. I think that's a fair price. But yeah, this Bugera offers the same quality, but if you need the Blackstar, for the MK 1 that price seems to be fair, don't go above that.

Their amps have a great clean sound. I like the gain channel on that amp more than my v55. Mine is a little less gain which lends itself to 70s rhythm rock . They all take pedals very well. Bugera is Behringer which makes all of their own components. Which blackstar amp is it based on? What tubes are in it
@guitarhacks_it2651
@guitarhacks_it2651 3 жыл бұрын
It is based upon Blackstar Ht club 20/50 with its double channel and Isf control... mine has a pair of 6L6 as power amp tubes

Can I go from cabinet simulator/headphone output into the mixer?
@guitarhacks_it2651
@guitarhacks_it2651 11 ай бұрын
Yes of Course this is what the Simulated Cabinet output is meant to do... You go with a standard Jack out of the back of the back Directly into the mixer and the PA... I did several gigs like this . One Tip.. When doing like this the master volume doesnt work just the indipendent volumes on each channel

Great review! Do you think you could get a tight heavy tone for low tunings (8string) with a ts9 or similar in front?
@guitarhacks_it2651
@guitarhacks_it2651 3 жыл бұрын
Of course... As you can hear the gain structure of the Amp is already tight and compressed, for low 7/8 string djenty tones I suggest to turn Morph Knob all the way towards "British position" To get more presence and lower the gain a bit... It would act as a ts9 without actually any need of ts9

@guitarhacks_it2651

Honestly it's already plenty of Gain and you actually don't need any fx in front of it but if you Want to tighten up the Sound you can use any Tube Screamer Type overdrive in front of it

the Bugera is not a copy of the Blackstar. The Blackstar is cathode biased, the Bugera fixed biased, which make for a pretty huge difference in tone and how your playing feels. And the Infinium is no small thing either, which the Blackstar absolutely does not have. Personally I believe that Bugera merely copied the looks of the amps. Not the amps themselves. But yeah the amps are killer value....they are real tube amps, and way better than many other Chinese tube amps. And a Bugera still destroys any "emulators" whatsoever.....Amplitube, Axe Fx, etc. Period.

@barclaybass2327, normally, i don't give ppl like you the negative attention you and your kind crave. Because you're just sad little ppl who can't understand why no one like you? It's because you are an asshole! Other ppl aren't the problem. You are. So you lash out at ppl on youtube knowing there will be no real consequences. You're a sad person, and i feel bad for you. But you're also a p.o.s. and you go pound salt. Hopefully, this little bit of attention makes you feel like a human being for a minute.
