INFINIUM Valve Life Multiplier technology is exclusive to BUGERA valve guitar and bass amplifiers. Look for the new INFINIUM series of heads and combos at your favorite music dealer.
bugera-amps.com
NOTE: While auto-biasing is not new, the way BUGERA does it is quite different. We use a smart micro-controller that tracks every tube independently and adjusts them only when they are heated up and audio is not present to avoid biasing errors. The INFINIUM technology can also shut down defective tubes individually without shutting down the whole amp which is crucial during a concert. There is much more to it and we plan another video to explain the advantages.

Great video! A friend of mine plays guitar in a black metal band and his big secret is this: On the bands 2 first albums he used a Behringer UD100 pedal for overdrive, since it got him "the meanest sound he ever heard"... Now, he just bought a bugera head after testing it against a similar marshall head...money was not an issue, he said, the Bugera had more gain, plain and simple.. May be his 'secret' signature sound will change for their third album..eheh :)

@bugera-amps
@bugera-amps 12 жыл бұрын
@Dimefan91 Yup...it's like an old 60's/70's amp...it stays clean unless you turn it up REALLY LOUD, although it does have a bypassable master volume on the back for crunch sounds at more reasonable volumes. It's a very versatile amp despite its simplicity. Cheers!

@THE1ADI We've made some major overhauls to the production of our amps in the last couple years. All the potentiometers are now firmly attached to the chassis face, and the connector issue that @GuitarRazze asked about is no more. Furthermore, we've recently installed some new testing/QC equipment in our factory that has upped reliability considerably. Cheers!

@SuperGuitarMark There might be a slight change in tone from the two scenarios you have described, but it wouldn't be too pronounced due to the fact that each "bank" of power tube sockets would have one 6L6 and one EL34. Part of the fun of INFINIUM is going to be hearing what combinations of tubes people come up with and the sounds each one produces...once the production models land in our Seattle office we're likely to have a lot of fun swapping tubes.

EL34's should work just fine, as should 6L6, 5881, KT77, KT88, 6CA7 and 6550. :) The INFINIUM system takes a measurement of the tubes, and then sends the appropriate amount of current. It does this for each individual tube, which is why unmatched sets or different types are possible.

@93collins The 333XL should already be in stores. I know I can get them at my guitar center in Atlanta right now. You can also find them at online stores like American Musical Supply, although I wouldn't want to have a tube head shipped. Postal workers are typically rough with packages no matter if they say fragile on them or not. I love this amp. Had it for a while and its absolutely reliable and a tone monster!

You would be doing so at your own risk. We recommend running the amp with all four tubes, as that's how it was designed, and also pulling tubes can change the impedance specs which can cause more problems.

Is there any chance that Qaulity of Products and Customer Service Will Improve??? Thing is that some of the products you have would be very competitive if they would be more reliable and better quality and customer service would be more helpful. And would live up to their word as my V5 rattled as crazy out of the box, one tube microphonic so was promised to receive a replacement valve asap, so far like 3 weeks down the road nothing and I now even can't return the junk amp, worst thing that I loved the tone. Other thing would be nice to see seperate speaker for sale as V5+V55 speakers together gives a realy nice ring to a tone, however rattle, failing tubes and rest doesn't help at all...

I understand that putting in different kinds of tube will make a different sound, but would changing the arrangement of the tubes change the tone. Like if the amp had the tubes in this order 6l6, el34, el34, 6l6, and then you changed the order to something like el34, 6l6, 6l6, el34, would it dramatically change the tone? If so, what part of the tone is effected by each power tube slot?

Is it true that biasing is automatic meaning if the tube is coming to its end, I swap it and the biasing stage Is done for me because it puts the right amount of current in the tube. An answer would be greatly appreciated as I am hoping to receive one in 2 months time.

I had a tube blow out after three months only, and replace with a Marshall by a technician :) But if I am to understand that I don't need matched tubes or anything like that and can change the tubes myself, can you tell me what tubes are compatible with my amp as the manual was VERY incomplete on the subject. CI use for example a MESA 6l6 with ENG el34's? Am I also to understand that I can change the tubes and just plug it in to play? Seems overly simple....
