Sam I Am is pretty awesome!! I met him during a section hike at Bears Den Hostel in VA after the roller coaster. You both are doing great. Keep going strong!!

It's cool that you met Sam I Am. I've been following his hike too. I had a question about the drinking water. Does your water filter have any effect on the taste of some of the nastier water sources? If the water is murky does it also clean it pretty clear or does the filter only take out the bad stuff?

My filter doesn't take out the color. And it doesn't take out all the taste, but thats what drink flavor packets are for! :D
