I own three of the the original "bullseye back-o-tool" made in Turlock California USA...owned them for over 40 years..they are invaluable in the auto body industry. I don't remember any coworkers having ever seen one before. The original bullseye picks do have changeable tips I had a pointy one and a slightly domed one...maybe used the blunt one once..using a vixen file as a "marking" tool you can easily do bondo free repairs with a little practice. The originals were made of 4140 and brazed together an had a proprietary torsion spring built into the hinge. I wish you many years of success and joy with yours...

I learned from this video that you can use the groove on the back of a vice to punch a center in a cilindrical shaped work piece. Nice video's, mister. Keep it up!

You may need to try this on a different fender to make sure it works on different ones. Actually you should test it on four, I would supply them for you!!

It's not "ripping off" someone else's design. It's "reverse engineering" 😉 - me, a design engineer (MechE) 😁

I have a dent in the gas tank of my Harley, should I make one out of Copper rod? Or just a copper covered head?
@GregWellwood2 жыл бұрын
I'd make a copper head for it, or even just build up the tip with silicon-bronze weld. I think copper rod would be too flexible a frame. I'd love to see what shape yours needs to be to get inside the tank!
