After moving a large rack from my shop to a shed I had to find a place for my chains and binders. Luckily I found some scrap material that I could make a rack out of and hang it in a convenient place just outside my shop.

Hi Chuck. Using spacers takes much less time than adjusting the square for each measurement. Also you don't need 3 hands to hold the square on the end of a long skinny piece. Jere

Hello Adam. The next one should give you some interesting uses for the Bulls Eye Pick and other tools you may want to make. Thank you for all of your support. Jere

Many thanks once again Jere! I successfully built the bolt/punch holding vise grips and have used them quite a bit already. Looking forward to taking on this bulls eye pick project!

Hi Matt. Funny how that works. You don't know you need a tool until you have it. Be sure to make some "holding" attachments for your bulls eye pick when you make them. Thanks for watching. Jere

Hi Paul. I think everyone has seen drilling and taping and welding. If I do something in an unusual way I will show that. Otherwise I will try to stick to the meat of the project. Thanks and I appreciate your comment. Jere

Great tool design. I appreciate the effort you put into these videos. Also, looking forward to you way of tightening up the joint. Thank you

Hi Glen. Aligning and tightening the joint will be covered in the next video along with MANY different attachments. Thanks for watching. Jere

Well done, Jere. Why do you bolt the top arm into place, and weld the bottom? Seems like welding both would be quicker.

Hi Ron. On my original pick, I found in my scrap pile a piece of 1/4 X 1 with two holes drilled and tapped. From that point I used the "Barn Door" theory. I think you will like seeing the different variations for the upper and lower attachments. Thanks.

A few years ago I made this same tool. What I like more about yours is the threaded feature for swapping dies.

When I design something I try to think about other uses it might be used for. If a simple design change will make it usable for another purpose I will add that element. You can still cut the ends off of yours and weld on some nuts. Jere

Hi Jere, back in the early 60's. Before "bondo" plastic body filler got popular, "bullseye picks" really were handy trying to use a pick hammer in the middle of a roof or hood usually meant more work trying to fix the misplaced pick marks.

Hi William. Been there. I remember trying to "ring" the dollie before making the hit that you hoped would be in the right place. I was restoring a 1970 Chevy Impala and this tool made me some money on that job. One hit and the job was done. No more chasing out the miss hits. Ahhhh the good old days. Jere
