Can you do a demo using the Dusty Blush and Blue collection? I think that’s what I’m going to be using for my wedding next year so I would love some hands on demos!!
@FlowerMoxie3 жыл бұрын
I will certainly try!!! The good thing is the flowers for this video are very similar to the Dusty Blush and Blue collection, even though the color is a bit different. Thank you for the request, we have a lot more tutorials coming. XOXOX, Ames

Hi! I loved your video!! Super helpful - especially about following a bit of a recipe :) I was wondering if you think chicken wire or floral foam is easier to use for a first-time centrepiece creator? Thanks 💌💌💌
@FlowerMoxie4 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! Floral foam is definitely easier for a first timer. Just don't get too stabby with it because that will break the foam down faster. Good luck on your first centerpiece!

I am so happy to have found your channel! I just like to arrange flowers for my home. I want to use my cut crystal vases and bowls. I’ve seen loose balls of aluminum wire used as a matrix and I’m thinking of trying that instead of chicken wire because I can tuck the ends toward the center. Do you have any tips for working with cut crystal bowls?
@FlowerMoxie Жыл бұрын
How pretty! Working with any clear glass container, we prefer using a clear tape grid over the opening of the vase so no one can see the mechanics going on inside the vase! You can also use a plastic pillow which would sit on top of the vase and give you a structure to place your stems in without showing the mechanics.

So beautiful by any chance do you know how big is this vase is?

Do the brides keep your vases?
@FlowerMoxie Жыл бұрын
No, only if they've been charged. I typically take plastic pot liners and transfer the flowers at the end of the night, or I build them in plastic compote vases, if they want to keep them but spend less. We have these on our DIY Supply Site. diyflowersupply.com/collections/vases
@kritziamelendez74322 жыл бұрын
Loveee. What's the size on this compote?
@FlowerMoxie2 жыл бұрын
I think it's less than 5'', sis! I don't buy compotes larger than 6 inches because I find that when I get into 7-9'' vessels it doubles my product. My larger ones are for large-scale arrangements like ceremony urns or guest book arrangements. XOXOX

Can you please give an estimate or price range on how much i should sell this centerpiece for?
@FlowerMoxie2 жыл бұрын
Probably around $95-$150, but honestly I retired before the pandemic so the pricing has really increased and changed so I may not be the best person to ask any more about pricing questions. Most florists take the price of a stem and times it by 4-6x.
@kylamcnally-anderson34842 жыл бұрын
Can you provide an estimate of how much this arrangement would cost with the flowers used? Thank you!
@FlowerMoxie2 жыл бұрын
This would probably be around $90-125 if you bought it from a florist because there are quite a few luxury blooms in there. DIY'ing it, there is probably around $35-40 worth of product

@FlowerMoxie2 жыл бұрын
Hey Rachel, the good news is you can build your arrangements in any composition that pleases your eye! I encourage you to remember that it's ok not to like or even understand someone else's art. Trust me, I've seen plenty of arrangements that I am not drawn to, but those differences make this world so much more interesting! So no need to comment any negativity.
