Used to carry 5 gallon bucket of water for like 30 ft and had to fill up 4 50 gallon barrel for family's horses. Hadda do it 3x a week. Where I live at we had to drive 2 miles to a watering hole. Not to mention hauling fire wood each winter as we only had wood burning stove. Had a good core, not toned or anything, but I could move pretty quick for a 250 lbs guy. I think doing such chores kept me from having bad spine in a bus accident during high school despite being overweight. Trying to get back into that shape after neglecting my core and my health for last 10 years or so. These videos have been helpful at doing all sorts of exercises

I wish I could make a playlist of KZbin shorts. All these videos are great! Edit: If you have youtube premium, you SHOULD have the option to save this short to a playlist. Now I'm pumped to try this later. Edit 2: If you don't have youtube premium, you should be able to save to a playlist as well. Thank you all!

Usually I just send myself the shorts on WhatsApp.

idk if the save to playlist in the settings is KZbin premium exclusive, but if it is, you go into your history, click on the three dots on the upper right of the short you want to save, and then save to playlist.

Funny, I do these without knowing with the exception of the marches in place, good addition. One I might add but may be off focus on abs is offset weighted lunges. Offset, one heavy kettlebell, one light; heavy on the drop leg and the light one held upside - down by shoulder for stability

Notice how everything involves your legs too. The skeletal muscles in your legs are huge, and developing those muscles will increase that metabolic rate way more than pounding away at the tiny muscles in your arms. Having those large leg muscles developed is going to help your overall leanness and make those abs actually show up.

Stuff like this is why i love calisthenics + yoga-like stretching. You dont just train you main muscles like the Abs or Biceps you train all those little connectores, stablelizers etc as well, leading to an overall great body controll without having to create an extra workout around it.
