My only suggestion is to make sure your wheels are centered properly and balanced, if they aren’t it can lead to a pretty drastic speed drop. Otherwise great job!!

That turned out great overall my man! And while yes the plexiglass looks cool in the wheels, feel like if you hit something hard or go over something like rough-terrain it's just going to shatter on you. Might want to consider redoing those with some steel. But great job either way!

Interesting build, I also like how you used the seat as suspension 😄 I know others have mentioned how the wheels are off center and I agree, they need to be centered with better precision to make the ride a little less bumpy and possibly improve steering, possibly with a lathe if you own one. The locking nuts someone mentioned are a good idea, though you could also use split pins. While the above were small things of not, I note two things I wasn't a fan of: The first was your using countersunk screws to secure the wheels to the hubs, I believe bolts with washers to secure them in place are less likely to wear through the plastic or rip them out Lastly, I am slightly concerned about the front suspension since I believe the way it levers forward when you hit a bump or when the vehicle us under additional stress. So, if standard motorbike suspension is not an option, I suggest you look up brampton forks which use a form of pantograph frame to keep the wheel in line, then try fabricating your own version 😉 Niggles aside, I found the build quite entertaining and plan to view more in the future

Acrylic is a nice plastic, but polycarbonate or lexan is more durable, and won't shatter when cut or drilled. I think it gives those wheels a nice look.

Отличная работа . Но на мой взгляд есть два слабых места у этой конструкции . Первое глушитель будет от вибрации постоянно рвать в разных местах второе крепление оргстекла винтами напрямую к ступице без приставочной шайбы . А так неплохой получился байк . Удачи вам

guys; great build. 2 quick thing that would make it safer for you. I would add a second hub and rim mounting plate to give the swrews and bolts to bite into. I also would use lock washers and blue locktight to keep them where they are supposed to. it would make it a lot safer.

Admittedly the concept and design are quite feasible, but the actual construction might leave a few things to be desired. First are those plastic centre wheels. If that material is acrylic or Plexiglas it will crack and fail under load as both are prone to cracking. It might work is you used polycarbonate but even them there is a design flaw. You need to put bushings between the bolt and the plastic and the bushing length must be identical to the plastic thickness.. If you just bolt it on as shown here the wheels will crack from the holes out. In any event those wheels can also fail because the loading on them will cause the bolt heads to wear against the plastic causing them to loosen off. Once loose, the bolt heads will start to chew up the surface of the plastic and weaken it and create notches which will allow cracks to start forming Second, the accuracy of the hub parts is almost nonexistent. Every flange on those hubs must be concentric to one another and parallel to one another. There are more than a few instances where you can see that this is not the case which will cause pulsing on the brakes and accelerated wear on the chain. Regarding the chain, you have installed the master link clip backwards. Third, the exhaust pipe will last literally miles before it rips the studs out of the engine cylinder head. The assembly is fairly heavy and you need to put secondary supports on it to prevent point loading on the head studs. Fourth, the use of car tires on a motorcycle is called dark siding and it will work if properly done. I have dark sided for a number of years on my touring bike and had no problems. The trick is to select the right tire. You need a run flat tire meant for winter service. If you use just a regular car tire the sidewall flex will be too great and you can walk the tire right off the bead on the rim. Summer or all season radials are not sticky enough to give you a good grip on the road. Winter tires are made with softer rubber compounds that will provide the grip you need. Fifth, you might want to put some more gusseting where the rear suspension attaches to the main frame. You have 90 degree angles there that will act as stress risers and it might be prone to cracking and failure. I have ridden and built bikes for over 50 years so I have accumulated a fair degree of knowledge on what will and will not work. Unlike cars, a very simple mistake can cost you your life.

Saya setuju dengan anda, malah bukan sahaja dari aspek rekabentuk sahaja, tetapi juga dari segi pemasangan juga perlu banyak penambahbaikan, contohnya pemasangan 'bearing' pada hub roda 😅perlu diteliti semula kerana ada kekurangnya disitu...Dan juga pada teknik memasang klip kekunci sambungan rantai juga adalah salah arah. saya percaya ini hanyalah sekadar 'content' untuk hiburan, bukan sebagai iklan yang menunjukkan bahawa produk ini mampu di produksi bagi tujuan komersial..produk ini masih jauh jaraknya untuk mencapai tahap keselamatan yg selamat untuk penggunanya...
