Very cool keyb! Is it possible to have a nice!nano controller with BL connectivity? Also, does the trackpad recognise gestures (double finger swap, etc.)?

personally, I tin one pad of the led pad first. Just enough to hold the led, and then solder them in. It makes it easier for me. But I also do that when I'm tinning the SMT diode pads too. It's more prep work, but ...

I do that with diodes, but I found the leds are a bit more annoying to install into the cutout with the additional tin on the pad. Without the tin it also works if a little bit wobbly

hi, just a quick question. what type of LEDs do I need to buy for this keyboard and how many?

Hey ! For per-key RGB, you will need as many leds as there are keys - that is, 36. You can use either SK6812 mini-e or SK6803 mini-e. For underglow RGB, those are to be soldered with PCBA and the amount and type are in the BOM on the github repo.

Maybe a stupid question, is it possible to have a display on the other side? Any resources on how to do it?

Hey ! There is an I2C (for OLED) and LCD connector (though it needs to be handwired a bit to match the different existing LCD screens out there). You'll also need to modify the firmware, but I saw it happen a few times so it's definetly doable.

Yes, DES caps by Asymplex, printed in resin. They are open-sourced on their github repo, and they also have a website where you can buy them.
