Daniil was SOOO humble and attentive. I loved the questions he was asking and how he said he'd incorporate these changes going forward. He works hard, takes cues well, and will kick ass in his next Olympia. I look forward to trying some of these exercise variations myself, too.

It's not everyone, but more often than not the top level people (in most things) love getting feedback and opportunities to improve. Anything to edge out the next 1% they can. Mental flexibility and the ability to critically evaluate what you're doing is essential

Absolutely. Time and time again in these videos I'm finding out these bodybuilders are awesome people. Most of them are surprisingly humble and down to earth, which is the opposite of what you'd expect from ultra high testosterone "alpha male" and all that shit. They seem like just genuinely wholesome dudes that are also super jacked.

Showing the weight and reps for a dude of this stature has been very eye opening for me, thank you for adding that. Back feels like my weakest body part and because of that I let my ego drive my back workouts. Doing Barbell rows with 200 pounds and probably not getting nearly the stimulus I should be getting because anything less than a plate on each side to me felt like I was trash. Very hard mindset to get out of loading weight up, some of it has to do with ego, but it also has to do with fear of not working hard enough. My biggest fear is to bust my ass on an exercise for 6months, or a year, and not have it have done anything in terms of mass. Wasted time is my biggest fear so I overcompensate, to the point of actually hurting my gains. Very hard to overcome that.

With the pausing at the bottom of the rep I find it's less about the direct stimulus of the stretch and more about avoiding the temptation to put momentum into the next rep. If I bounce my rep off the bottom of the movement I can definitely get more reps in but they're not as stimulating as those completed from a dead stop
