I have a similar sort of TBR method. A house wren sits by my bedroom window and chirps like it is demented so I leave my newest unread books in a pile by my boyfriends side so he can find one to throw at the window, I then read that book. The method is good because it is free of all intellectual bias although sometimes when I talk to him I think he understands every single word but I know that is silly.

@@AbbyAsselin HAHA this is completely fair 🫶here’s the TL;DR - basically Rachel Catherine popularized the concept of letting a “TBR jar” choose the list of books you plan to read for a month and a ton of other booktubers hopped on the trend! so now it’s a pretty common/popular monthly video concept amongst the booktube community📚✨
