I actually started developing carpal tunnel a couple months after getting my paperwhite because the way I was holding my folio case strained my wrist! I wish I had known about those strap things or thought to use a pop socket! I did invest in a page turner and floor stand that was a total game changer/lifesaver, especially after abdominal surgery. I use a screen protector for when i have a clear, rubber case on with no face. I like the feel of the kindle too, so i use a matte screen protector. It is the same feel plus protection

Great video! Agree the remote turner and pillow is extra but I got mine recently and it is a game changer! The ability to angle the stand exactly right for reading in bed on my side, or raising it up in my lap for a more ergonomic neck position, is so comfortable.

If people are non-commital about a PopSocket they also offer MagSafe PopSockets. I guess the only downside is you have to have the magnet adapter stuck to your Kindle case but you can change out the socket part to different designs. 🎀

The page turner and (especially) the pillow are DEFINITELY not essentials. They are just gadgets that some might find useful (especially people with disabilities or other physical problems) but are, in general, ABSOLUTELY inessential for using Kindle 😉

I recently purchased the Kindle pillow stand, and I am very frustrated with it to the point of almost wanting to return it. The way my candle fits into the holder it constantly is pressing on the on off button. If I move my Kindle over so that it’s not pressing on the button it makes it lopsided and heavy sided. I don’t know what to do. 🎀

I had Unlimited for a while and you had to return them or they were returned automatically some time after reading. If you unsubscribe then whatever you had in your library that's front Unlimited goes back.

Correction: kindle unlimited only gives u access to 100 thousand or a great thousand of books. This is if authors want to put their books on KU and authors can remove those books at any time and put them up to buy which is the other half of kindle books.

Why did they put the off button on the bottom of the paper white. If you stand it up it turns the machine off. You have to hold it away from a rest and it gets very uncomfortable. Is it true that all the ebooks you buy on Amazon are not yours? They were going to be a cheap option to books and now you have to pay more😊
