Very nice overview covered a lot but was easy to understand. I had a question through: In this case, are those endpoints, envoy proxy endpoints, running as a Sidecar in Kubernetes along with application?

They done have to be envoy sidecar proxy. They could be your pod IPs where your container is running without proxy sidecar
