That's a great idea for adding mobility to a lounger! Placing a 2x4 or 2x6 on edge between the back and middle legs creates a solid base for mounting wheels. By positioning the wheels slightly off the ground and facing backward, you ensure the lounger remains stable when stationary. To move it, simply lift the front of the lounger, and the wheels will engage with the ground, allowing for easy maneuverability. This approach keeps the lounger secure when you want it stationary, while also making it easy to relocate whenever needed-a perfect upgrade for versatile outdoor furniture!
