Best of luck on the surgery and we wish you a speedy recovery from Oklahoma. The JWA is a game changer input for real. As long as you use potassium hydroxide lye over sodium hydroxide lye, this is an amazing preventative and active pesticide but also potassium foliar feed. I also add in about 2 tbs of neem oil in place of 2 of the tbs of canola oil. Just to put a little neem into the oil mix. I’ve watched this stuff take out caterpillars, wasps, aphids…. It is my #1 most used product in my grows.

A tips for you...if you have access to wild blackberries few years ago I observed that spiders started to eat some in my garden and a week or two later no more little white dots spider let on plants...the year after I found spiders on one of my guerilla grow I went to this wild blackberries plant and took a piece of it that I put on the bottom leaves...2 weeks later it was clean! About plant juices I use nettle for N comfrey for P dandelion for K and horsetail for calcium...I will try mustard flowers next year and since it's supposed to clean the soil I have an issue with the soil where I grow my tomatoes some kind of mushroom called black foot who kill plants and there's nothing to do! Great video , I've been battling aphids and tried everything . Most of the time most "organic" products kills bout 95%+ but not 100% . Which allows the survivors to build their immunity, and being aphids clone themselves eventually they become tolerant to most sprays . I will definitely use this in veg next time needed , but wht is ur recommendation for aphid control in flower ?! I have found lady bugs in an indoor setting 2b the most effective, they're just expensive!!! Thank you for the video , respect and good vibes and positive for ur upcoming surgery !!!

Great tutorial, especiallywhen theother first steps. They are not being too cautious. Beards are the in thing but act as a sponge if you get sloppy, and with keep it bur ing your face consider a face shield for beards. Used to work with sodium hydroxide (50lbs bags) and potassium hydroxide making industrial surfactants. Totally nasty stuff at the beginning. CAught some dust and beads in the creases of my new work boots and it ate through the leather in less than an hour. It is a great wetting agent after the process. Works on blister beetles and squash bugs. With independence comes responsibility. Great product, Do exactly what they say and you are golden.

dear bos-team, dear a.j. thanks a lot for the information you spread around. one question to a.j. : the recipe you shared today seems like some kind of "soft soap" one can buy in cosmetic stores etc. here in europe. in german, it's called "schmierseife", and sometimes organic oils are used, and is then labeled as save for use on plants. it's much more fluid than the recipe you shared today. i just checked mine, and the ingredients read: water, vegetable fatty acid (from vegetable oil), potassium hydroxyde, fragrance (smells like lemon). do you think the added fragrants are a problem? the product i have here is labeled for use in the house and on plants, so i guess it doesnt matter and it's more or less the same? since you mentioned that you wouldtn use it to retain water in soil, do you think the added fragrants could be a bigger problem for the soil than the oils? anyways, always wanted to know how to make this stuff. thanks for that.

Can someone talk about using lye as a soil drench? JADAM says you can replace JMS with NaOH. How do you feel about inputting lye to your garden?
@timturk18992 жыл бұрын
Personally, I'd add Lime, but not Lye. I'm not sure how this would work out..? Luckily, I don't have anything "broken", so thankfully, nothing to fix(right now, at least..). It seems to be primarily made/effective through a Foliar spray. For a Soil wetting agent, I use BAS "Jay Plantspeaker's Quillija Saponaris-20"(last batch, or latest, tested over 20%, to 28% Saponins!). 1/8 tsp/gallon, but so good I'll use half that, lately.👍💯✌️🙏
@ahhason2 жыл бұрын
In the JADAM books, he teaches people to use NaOH for pesticidal reasons also. 30g in to 20L mixed with JWA kills insects but seriously, its a tough one for me to support because I'm too ignorant on adding caustic soda to my soil..
@timturk18992 жыл бұрын
@@ahhason Huh..? The guy in the video said he thought KOH (Potassium Hydroxide)was best over Sodium Hydroxide. Not sure what JADAM says in the book. Sounds interesting! I'm much too ignorant myself, on this subject, to go any further than trying the already completed product from BAS. And only (probably, lol) when I may really need it. Need to get a few other products from BAS first, myself, with Flowering coming soon. Great info! Great products! They should be able to answer any questions you have. Calling's probably much quicker, email may take a few days.👍💯✌️
@ahhason2 жыл бұрын
@@timturk1899 I've already talked to them via email many times they are very helpful but still, when you need to get in depth then its best to read a book or get taught by the known. KOH is best for liquid soaps which is what JWA is. NaOH is for solid/bar soaps. In JADAM they use NaOH to make JS. which is JADAM Sulphur. But they also use NaOH diluted to fight pests. In the JADAM pesticide book it literally states you can replace JHS with Sodium Hydroxide. It popped a red flag for me because I always think caustics are very toxic. I definitely believe that drenching your soil with caustics even when diluted will kill most living things in your soil good or bad. Is this JADAMs way of bombing your soil and plants? And how long will caustic soda in soil stay caustic for? So many questions. Anyone? Master Cho?
