At the beginning of covid we each got a 1 gallon backpack electromagnetic sprayer to spray apartments before we went into paint and work. That's now been turned into a garden sprayer. Works so well. Micro mist that covers and sticks to every inch of the plants.

In my last outdoor (hemp) grow, I found a few lime green short caterpillars in some of my flower... Any idea where they came from?
@MistahBufo2 жыл бұрын
They are more or less harmless caterpillers, but very annoying as they will burrow into stems and buds in hemp and cannabis plants, and as they eat, they shit, and the decaying caterpiller feces causes bud and stem rot. Safer Brand 5163 Caterpillar Killer II Concentrate, 16 Oz is effective for spot-treatment, at proper dilution levels. Not as a drench.
@buildasoilfamilyfarm24042 жыл бұрын
I guess I wouldn’t know unless I saw them. Moths are green caterpillars before they transform and they will definitely eat your plants. So maybe that?!?
@GTILOUD2 жыл бұрын
Its called a budworm moth land on your buds and lay their little f****** babies in there and they'll be on the interior of your bud hard to tell until you'll see a gray dry dead spot on the bud. you'll pull that off they'll be underneath you can walk around and look through your buds and look and remove them by hand and or spray Bt bacillus thuringiensis, get dipel pro df its a powder form works on army worms all versions of caterpillars their cousins all of em and its cheap. A bacteria that only kills them will not harm bees or beneficial insects for pets or you.

They are gray until they eat enough of your bud then they become green

Do you have problems with late blight? It's rampant here. Tomatoes all die if I don't do anything. Once you see it, it's too late so you have to prevent it. I'd love a good organic treatment of late blight.

Can't speak for everyone but I started using Doctor Zymes in 2021 and it stopped my tomato blight in its tracks. Purely anecdotal. Can't hurt to try, it's a safe, organic product.

@@buildasoilfamilyfarm2404 I hope it never comes to your area. It was brought here by a big discount chain who sold huge numbers of infected tomatoes starts in their "garden center". Now it's in all the local gardens and birds bring it back even if I get rid of it in mine. I am using Daconil, a fungicide, to stop it. Daconil is not good for the native soil fungus, so I hate using it. But... if I don't I get no tomatoes. I'll try the Dr. Zymes and see if it helps and is more garden microbe friendly.
