Politics ruins art... Most car makers don't make really good looking cars because then no one would buy another car after that... the business model is middle-class people buying the next version every 5-10 years. Add to that, manufacturer alliances such as Mitsubishi-Nissan-Renault, and now only one car maker does each type of body style and does not compete... Only a seperation of body & technology will allow artistic cars again...

If you have to and there isn't one already, start a local 3S club, I did that and it was one of the best things I could have ever done. Final word of advice having been exactly in your shoes in 2007, if you want to be serious about, don't let relationships get in your way, if they don't fully support the passion, they won't last anyway, your mistress will be your Stealth and chances are she'll treat you better than any human will over the long run so long as you do the same for her. @Denchik ShowEm The first one I bought was a brand new one in 1998. Had to sell it when I got married. Didn't make as much money then, so I needed some more "family friendly". Second one was 8 yrs later. Much better job = much more money. So I bought one as a secondary vehicle to my Jeep. Had it for a couple years and was involved in an accident and it was totaled. The 3rd one I bought was from a friend of mine that needed money and was moving overseas, so I picked it up. Now that one wasn't treated well. A bunch of work needed to bring it up to my standards. So I sold it to my nephew super cheap so he could put the work in to it to bring it up to par. So seeing one like this (super clean) makes me wanting another one. And if I were to get one again ... I would want something tuned and a beast. Like I said before... This is one of my all-time favorite cars. I have so much nostalgia with them.

Michael Dolan not much. You can find some less than 5k. I’ve got my own vr4 from the year it came out so it has all the things you want. But I don’t have the time nor money to fix it up to my liking. The only problem that you will run into is the ones that are basically dead and need a lot of work. I’m lucky that I found one that runs and drives with most of the quirks working for 2500. I just can’t drive it hard due to not running for 11 years. So I need to rebuild of a lot stuff especially the turbos since they are consuming tons of oil. Other than that it is a cheaper build but most people won’t like to work on it because the engine bay is so cramped. But once done that engine sounds beautiful I know

What a lot of people dont know is that not only is Mitsubishi one of the oldest companies in the world (they started in the 1800s as a conglomerate), but Mitsubishi also built the Japanese Zero fighter plane in World War II. They have certainly come a long way, to going from building warplanes to building classic JDM cars. And of course, with this 3000GT V6, the Classic Black look never goes out of style.

I have a 1991 Mitsubishi 3000 GT SL. Paid 1,500 for it 2 years ago. Gears are going out as I have to keep it out of overdrive as that gear wont work. Slowly they going out. Had both rear wheel bearings replaced and they had to order the parts from another car somewhere across the country for that. 250 bucks each plus labor which dropped my jaw. Then cost me 700 bucks for a tuneup new plugs and wires and the works. Now it smokes at stop and goes but not while driving. Learned it needs new valves and they say about a $1,600 labor and parts. I've had other small things done to it to and the passenger window motor went bad and had it replaced that cost near 400 bucks as well. This car will cost ya money but man I love them. My daughter wants to buy it as it runs still with 158,000 miles on it. Gonna sell it for 2 grand to her as she is getting a car accident settlement for near 20 grand and plans to have it rebuilt and trans rebuilt and new paint job and body work job. Once all that is done she will have a hot ride. Wish I had the money to do what is done in this video to it or I'd keep it but Im too poor to having this done to it so I hope my oldest daughter fixes it up good when she turns 18 and gets her settlement money and gets the work started on this first of its kind 1991 3000 gt sl. Love these cars. The VR 4's are bad ass to! Hard to find those though.

You aren't. Kinda disappointed because I'm no hippy tree hugger but that is not cool. I definately try not to let any petroleum products or chemicals enter our storm drain systems or into soil/ground. It contaminates it and could cause an issue to living beings wether humans or animals. Life is precious, much more precious than material items. Life is definately more precious than a dirty motor. Stylish black forged wheels, green brake calipers, car would be black or a silver grey, lip spoiler, tinted windows, if leegal i would have green lights, i would have led lights inside (similar to the mercedes’s ambient lighting), airbag suspension, exposed intercooler, aftermarket exaust, and swith the turbo’s with some bigger sequential turbo’s. Maybe peeking out the hood simular to the hoonicorn mustang build.
