God forbid you get pulled over on this speed demon and the Police can't read the plate. lol I had 3 of these, the 50cc the 70cc and the 90cc 1974-77 Joe, that was funny Jaden was doing the walk of shame up the driveway, She is going to kill you! lol :)

Love rebuilding the old monkey bikes, always a ton of family history attached to them. Done several, lot of fun to fix. Did one in January for an old farmer down the road, finished it up, he and his grandson came to pick it up. When it fired up, he was very emotional. Grandson rode it home. See him about every weekend out riding it at his place. Warms the heart...

The first dirt bike I ever rode was a 1977 z50! My friend, Blair, who only came around every other weekend to visit his dad, had one, and we'd ride it up and down the driveway for hours. It sparked a love affair with bikes that still persists to this day over 40 years later. 🥰

I had one of those. My Honda Z50A was blue with the chrome fenders. Gave it to my sister when I got a Yamaha DT360. Was stolen twice. Got it back the first time, but no luck the second. Was a fun bike. I had friends that had Trail Hoppers, YZ80's and XR75s and we used to ride around the neighborhood at night, trying not to be seen by the police. I have a lot of fond memories of those days. Honda sold them with 2 different carb. slides and also a restrictor plate in the exhaust system. The plate was removed and the better slide installed for better performance. Whoop!

I was gifted a 1976 Z50. It had been sitting for years. My grandson and I removed, drained and rinsed the tank, cleaned the carb....used same old gaskets, filed and set points, cleaned/gapped the plug, added fresh gas and vroom! It smoked but after a few rides the smoke stopped. Stuck rings. It looks ratty but Honda build quality is remarkable. Dave in Omaha

Those screws on the clutch, probably all the case screws too, they're probably JIS - I think that's Japanese Industrial Standard or something like that, if you try to use s standard American Phillips #2 or #3 you're just going to strip them right out, they almost have little wings on the screwdriver next to the + of the Phillips slot. NEED a set of JIS drivers!!

Good evening 🌆 from Greece Peloponnese island and town Egio guys, hello there, unfortunately you have to change the oil pump gear ⚙️ too with the timing chain ⛓️ and guide because it's teeth is awful 😞 and will strip soon and it will cause cylinder head camshaft rocker arms valves to break because of no oil 🛢️ passage through the lower left crankcase stud with the cooper screw spacer that has on the crankcase an oil passage hole , the oil pump is located on the other side of the engine unfortunately and you have to disassemble it completely, that's cub engine 😭
@RussianAigio2 жыл бұрын
That and the kick start lever is the same thing 😂 you have to disassemble it completely, and of course the transmission shaft if it's damaged the one that has the drive ⚙️ the small one on 😂
@RussianAigio2 жыл бұрын
And for the best compression rate torque specs and engine performance, the best piston rings gaps positions are the Mercedes logo method degrees ° " Y ", for the most cub type engines at least for 60 years now here in Greece 😂 ,
I'd love to find one of these or a little atc70. Good content as always man, keep up the good work.
