How about a CH160 for a future build? Could potentially get cheaper than this

I built my pc in the sun on my back porch last year, it felt wrong at first but that new hardware smell combined with spring flowers isn't something you experience often. If the weather is nice, ill be doing it next time too.

I would highly recommend! So nice to do it out in the fresh air

Really well made build video. Great work. Would love to see more such builds and even smaller ones with parts from the UK :)

You might sell them at a markup, but your prices are more than reasonable for prebuilt systems, as in for similar spec you would probably still pay more from a more boutique system integrator... And most of your builds seem to be very balanced in terms of configurations. Great Video.

this case is over $100, I don't think you could call it a budget Build
@thecomputersurgeon9 ай бұрын
It would of course be cheaper with a standard mid tower. There is a premium to going ITX. I did mention that at the end of the video
@moto69818 ай бұрын
It clearly says Budget ITX build. ITX builds are more expensive. Future is ITX and console-sized pcs with full desktop power and more energy efficiency
@delta616 ай бұрын
you can get cheaper ITX cases from 30$ onward. Mainboards are the bigger problem since there are little viable itx mbs. I had to buy one generation old and used to get an itx mb under 100$

Interesting you went for Ryzen 5500, most people online would say the 5600 is THE budget CPU to get.

Great video. I was interested in the reasons behind the GPU choice, but I have found the same thing with the 2nd hand market. Nvidia sells better. A recent 6700xt build is just not selling and I am concerned with an upcoming 6600xt build will be similar. I'm going to do an experiment and list it at the same time as a 2070 super build and see which one sells first. Definitely look better with the normal glasses rather than the sunglasses. The sunglasses give off the chad vibe :)

Sweet setup but is 700 pound budget?
@thecomputersurgeon9 ай бұрын
I suppose it's perspective. I agree 700 is not cheap. I'd normally say 600 as budget, but ITX always costs a bit more If you used the stock cooler and Non-RGB RGB this would get down to about £650.
@moto69818 ай бұрын
I would say it's Budget. I know we are still going through inflation and are less likely to spend on pcs😢

front fans should be exhaust, get a 4.0 riser, 4060 is pcie 4.0 x8, lol this build a joke bro
@thecomputersurgeon9 ай бұрын
The 5500 and A520 board only support PCIe 3.0 so the 4.0 riser would not have made a difference If on a 4.0 capable system I would agree with you 👍
