Mentioning Nana and the teen sharing a room, my mom and her grandmother shared a room (and a bed) all through my mom's high school years because their house was too small. My mom said she actually kinda liked it and it made her feel close to her grandmother

I slept with my gran almost for a year in my room because my grandfather died and my gran was trying to sell the house and looking for a new house I miss her being in the house so now normally when I'm off from work I would sleep by her house and it's litterly 2 minutes from where we live so I can just walk lol her house so nice and quiet it's like I'm on holiday whenever I'm there and we spend the day watching movies ❤

I share a room with my grandma. She moved in with us when I was eleven because dad took her apartment during divorce (before that I shared a room with my older sister but she moved out when grandma moved in). I lived in the dorm during college but now I’m back home and share with grandma again and it’s not a big deal but also I’m moving out as soon as possible

I’d love to see a 8 sims tiny home 👀 I sometimes get the crazy thought of trying a 100 baby challenge so a tiny home for a family of 8 would come extra handy eheh

I did that, it was fun! They skill up so quickly and you can age the kids up faster. Deli's 100 baby challenge inspired me to build sheds for the teens and kids to sleep in. They had no complaints

Beautiful build Deli! I don't know what it is, but there's something in your build style that is so satisfying for me, maybe it's the colors or the fact that it's not that cluttered. I've been on a 'non-clutter' phase and your builds are just perfection for my gameplays as well, so thank you Deli! Also, I may have binge watched your recent LPs and was wondering... would you do and LP with the chef hustle pack? Maybe a rags to riches (or rags to waffles... idk lol) or just to achieve the aspirations, it would be so nice!

With the extra money, I would expand the parents' bedroom so the bed would fit without scooting, swap out one shower for a bathtub or shower tub combo, and change the teen's desk. For gameplay purposes, I would get rid of the outdoor dining area and put monkey bars. For aesthetics, I would use a cheaper TV and remove the console and clutter behind the couch to afford a more expensive sofa. Then I would save up to build an extension for the infant and toddler to have a shared bedroom and expand the kitchen by relocating the bathroom.

Hiii deli! I have only really been watchin one sim youtuber on and off the several years. (who happens to be James). But while he got me interested in building and paying attention to stuff there, the sims stories have been.... well chaos. And not at all my style. I decided to give your channel a go because I ran out of content on his channel lol, also you seem so chill and enthusiastic and also hello, Bowser snoring in the background?! I am in love. So I have been bingeing a few of your previous series, and I it's so much more fun to get enthusiastic now for my sim families as I try to give some backstories and motivations behind the actions. Like, it's no longer the sims bugging out and refusing to let me move out a sim from my household that I only moved in to make them a place-able/playable family. It's now the guest who overstayed their welcome and refuses to leave as they enjoy freeloading too much. And trying to find an elaborate solution to get them out - while also not being a bad host. I dare even blame you a little bit for me getting way too enthusiastic about playing yesterday (while watching your horse ranch series on another monitor) - so I only got 4hrs of sleep before I had to get up for work ;A; But it really made the entire game more enjoyable :D so thanks! Also give Bowser a pat from me

I'd have put the twins and the teen in one room because they are all girls and put the infant and toddler together as they are both boys. However for storytelling, this would be a cool change in game. The teenager has had her own room forever. But her baby brothers are getting older and they need their own space and 4 children on one room mixed gender is unfair. So, her younger twin sisters are moving into her space. But the twins like to prank their older sister, so she's now always on edge in what use to be her safe space.

Very nice build! The only thing I'd change is turn the parents bed around so they can get in and out easier, it would still fit. Plus maybe upgrade the teen's desk.

As someone who actually had to share a room with her grandma when she lived with us during the winter (cuz it was too cold for her in our village) I will say that it only works for a short while, like in our case it was only for a couple of months each year. Just don't get me wrong, I loved her but it felt so invasive to have someone come live in your room when you've always been by yourself there before that, you know? Plus after a certain time elders have additional needs and complications due to their age and it will become straight up unpleasant for the other person to be in the same room as them. I know it's the Sims and it doesn't matter at all but once you've experienced it firsthand you just can't separate the two quite so easily.

First of all, LOVED this challenge! I feel like a lot of people tend to only build starters for 1-2 sims and forget you can actually get a bigger starter budget by having more sims. This was definitely a bit more different! Second, have you tried this challenge with only BG 👀 BG stuff tends to be more expensive in general which makes it a lot more challenging! I'd love to see you give it a go.

Bathtub for toddller??? In USA, door hinges are usually near the closest room corners. I always do the same on my sim houses because it looks better. I do to fix every door in every pre-made build I use or enter. Drives me nuts.

I like deli's vids so much but when she talking abt the fires at the start my sims got on fire while cooking and his wife was calling the fire department but no one came...and the fact that their baby was just 1 day old😭...(he died)...after that happend all the kitchen was black and i moved the wife and their baby son to another house so she could forget the memories their old house gave her

the only thing bothers me is that you didn't extend the main bedroom so the bed would fit properly and sims don't need to scoot over. otherwise lovely build :) personally, I am not interested in a 8 people tiny house as I find them super unrealistic, in real life and also to play with in the sims :D
