I like those UCO Candle lanterns. I bought a 3-candle UCO for the dreaded winter blackout. You can heat water and food with it. For indoor cooking it's the best. No noxious fumes.
@JoshuaGammonАй бұрын
Oh ya I three wick one would be great to heat water etc. Great idea.

Really awesome video! For all that work, I'd add a filet to that dinner, and a few more eggs & bacon to that breakfast! Lots of credit, you're doing it, sleeping on the ground showing how it's done. Cheers! Pete in Arizona - KI7LIL

Appreciate it. Glad you enjoyed the video. Doc says I have to cut back on the bacon and eggs. LOL. I'll just leave that there. Has some issues during the summer, nothing to worry about though. Have a good one Peter.

I love nature. I did like some of the video and the shelter that you built. What I struggle with in some videos that I've seen. They'll show part of a scenery. Like when your video show the tops of the trees. The treetops are blowing like it's 20 mi an hour winds. And the volume you can hear with the wind blowing. however then it goes to you building your shelter and there's no sound of that rustling wind is quiet. It seems like it was dubbed in later on. Then you say it's going to be cold at night into the morning and you wake up and there's no breath that shows the cold. Then you build a fire and drink a hot cup of coffee and there's no steam that shows the cold. No I'm not saying it wasn't cold however these are the things I look for in the authenticness of a person's video. But i did love the fire. It looked inviting.
@JoshuaGammonАй бұрын
The wind is not dubbed in. It's windy and than the wind stopped time to time. I said at the start of the video what the temps are so, not really sure were you are going with this.

Eating out of the pan. Reminds me of my single days. 😁 Looked like a great meal. I’ve built shelters like this back in my pre-teen years but I called them forts. 😄 Grew up in the timber of Oregon. Still living in the timber of Oregon.
@JoshuaGammonАй бұрын
LOL. I guess i'm single for the night out there. Just me and the animals. I was building fort when I was 12. I wish I had pictures of them. No camera than.
