Found you a couple weeks ago, early May 2024 & got addicted to your content! YT was queueing up videos in a random pattern which was fine at first, but now I'm here to watch them ALL in ORDER. I'll know if it's a repeat because I already Liked every video I saw. I figure it'll take me all the way to Independence Day to watch them, but I need your industrious & fun inspiration to get on with my OWN gardening; I live alone & have to self-motivate, which doesn't always happen. (Wisconsin, USA Zone 5) You are providing an important international service, Jessie!

This is THE best cold frame building vid ever especially using recycled materials and your soothing voice and manner of instruction so relaxing to watch - shall be outside tomorrow building one in my backyard in the southern hemisphere 😊

Hi Jessie! 🙋🏻♀️I started watching your channel a couple of weeks ago. I’m now going to watch all your videos from the beginning. Enjoyed watching you build your cold frame. When I build things, I do it in my head first. I too save bits and bobs and use them in other projects. Your cold frame is brilliant. I’ve been wanting one and am now inspired to build one. So nice to see you and mum so close and involved with each other. Looking forward to all your vlogs and taking copious notes. You’re a great teacher! Thank you for sharing. 🥰

This build looks exactly like something I would have done, and have done similar, for raised beds using pallets and plastic rain barrels! Well done! Love to see resourcefulness!

A brilliant idea :) that keeps dead materials from entering landfill sites to support new life :) and am guessing very cheap or zero to construct :)

Im only a 2 yr allotmenteer, and learning fast. Will post on here my polytunnel i made from a free trampoline frame when time allows as it may help someone? Hi Terry, thank you!! Collecting all the bits and bobs you might ever possibly need and then making it up as you go along is definitely the best way on an allotment (or in life in general!)! :D Oooh, I’d be really interested in your trampoline polytunnel! That sounds excellent! Agghh! Half a slug... in a sprout.... *horror* These things cause life-long issues! Haha haha! Lovely to hear from you! J

Very talented but I would have put the plastic over the lids, it would protect the wood and made it last longer 👍
@JessieatPlot374 жыл бұрын
Yeah, i have to admit i did it for aesthetic reasons, 😂
@aaron68413 жыл бұрын
Try pulsating the drill when you screw in firm pressure and press the trigger on then off a few times this will set the screw. Using plasterboard screws isn't good for outdoor or carpentry projects
@aaron68413 жыл бұрын
Why you didn't put two long screws straight through the frame would of been a lot stronger you can clean up the old green wood with fungalcidal wash from a hardwear store and treat
