I love the way you explain the construction process and under the terms of local building codes and policies. I've been thinking of this as an option to build my house. Here where I live it is very easy to get containers for this purpose. I must sit down and create my budget based on my area and construction regulations, but I would love to know how much, more or less the investment was, including the electric power system (solar panels) and also I would like to know how you treat sewage. I appreciate sharing your video with us and I hope it is not difficult for you to evacuate my doubts. Great job.

The big problem here in Miami is first they don't accept that kind of construction and second the land have the price of any house over 250 000.00 dollars depend the neighborhood.

That is a fairly large house. In a way the structure is like an Earthship design. Far an earth ship design they use a large roof that covers the house and some fill in dirt that is used to cool down air underground that is in tubes or vents under the dirt. It is like the earth's own air conditioning like you feel in a cave. Then they drain the roof through a filter and into underground water storage tanks.

extremely impress with your project. However, base on your project, a household must earn multi million dollars in order to achieve these project. I have been fascinated on container living for the past two years. however, base on a teacher's salary, I think is not feasible. any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a former state employee, now retired, and thought wow I can finally get out of my apartment and live in a small container house at this phase in my life, but it has become very apparent that you have to be rich and already have your own land.

I think you missed an opportunity better using that Basement space ..an extra 2-3 feet would have made it more useable for stuff like a Home cinema, Storage, Ping Pong room, possibly a Garage and even Bedrooms...the cost of the extra 2 feet would have been minimal..it also would not have required more excavation ..you re still low given that you dont have a second story.
