Building a Crazy Minecraft Mob Farm In Survival Minecraft

A survival World where you cant craft sticks, mobs drop ores, ores drop rotten flesh and HUGE naturally occuring structures surprise you!

In this Minecraft Survival episode, with avomance, the modded survival game ismoving along! I am going to show you how to build a mob farm in survival minecraft
Its also a great Minecraft XP farm!
Except I have to make it out of wood, because I can't get enough stone due to mining stone dropping rotten flesh
Its all upside down!
I also need to collect resources, but thats messed up because Iron drops from skeletons, string comes from Coal ore and creeepers drop diamonds!!
I know.. just watch. It'll make sense! Probably!
Oh, and pigs are poisonous, sheep make you levitate and chickens give you speed. Probably other stuff too - but I've not worked that out yet :)

So I was watching this, and thought of something. If you get close to the Sheep, you start to levitate. If you leash the Sheep, it will follow you. I wonder how high you can float while dragging your own sheep upwards?

I always have the bottom of my mob farms built of obsidian since of the great sea base explosion of 21 unleased the hoards of hell and I had to evacuate the area

@Avomance: Initial_Observations... ---Rather than chopping & replacing the stairs around your hoppers, you can use trapdoors. Whether they're up-or-down will determine how close you can get, & it doesn't create any wear-&-tear on your tools. ---Using 1_dirt + 8_trapdoors provides a safer way to block off the shaft: ...from your attack-area, place a trapdoor on the upper half of the LEFT & CENTER blocks of the shaft's far wall. ...walk a quarter of the way around the outside of the shaft & add 2 more trapdoors, then repeat twice more. ...plug the center spot with a dirt block, & you're ready to safely alter the bottom of the shaft. ... remove the dirt & flip open the trapdoors when you're done. ---I find myself thinking, "Silly Avomance!" ...because once again, I hear you complain about how quickly your floor is consuming your supplies, while you're using BLOCKS in places where SLABS would be equally good, for half the cost. ---If you need quick access to the bottom of the kill-shaft, you only need: 2_iron_doors 2_buttons Remove 2 blocks from one corner, & also the 2 blocks from both sides of that corner, to make an entry which is one DIAGONAL block wide. Place the doors so that they re-seal the corner. While outside the kill-shaft, place the button on the underside of the corner block above your head. This button will open both doors. From inside the shaft, place the other button on the block directly above one of the doors. ... this will give you a quick-&-easy entry & exit, in a form which mobs can't use. Most importantly, it DEFAULTS to the "shut" position, & auto-closes itself, to discourage mobs from escaping. ... the extra-wide opening makes it easier to avoid getting stuck on the edge of a door, & no redstone is needed, so the design is very user-friendly for the early stages of gameplay. ...if you're short on iron, you can start with wooden doors & replace them later, but remember that zombies can break thru wood. ---You never said anything about the 4 lightning rods in the design, & I was curious to know what your reasoning was. Wouldn't witches, charged creepers, etc. offer even more variety of loot-drops...?

These are some awesome ideas!! The lightening rods are because its made of wood - as I can't get a lot of cobble. You are right, the pther mobs might be more "interesting" but I don't want to wake up with it burned down :)
