Awesome to see someone doing that in the field of dirt bikes and atvs. Love how detailed you get down to the plating of the hardware and finishes on parts and pieces. Love the builds man and excellent work. Keep it up.

Beautiful bike! Nicely done! You can always use a T hose replacement that is aftermarket, its one piece. Common problem with the 23+ with the T hose leaking. You can delete the thermostat, and replace the plastic T hose all in one go. I used MotoHose, really nice stuff. Maybe it will help some of you guys! Also, the front fork height based on the milled lines can be adjusted as rider prefers. It can help get more weight to the front and give a shorter wheel base. It helps a lot if you struggle a little with turning. You can also tighten the steering stem bolt to make your steering a little more stiff, I find it helps a lot with arm pump and headshake.

That special lock washer is called a Nord-Lock. They work amazingly well. I use them on heavy equipment. I think they require about 20% more torque to remove as what was put on them. Many people install them wrong when reusing. the course tabs of each washer should mate up. The finer side, with more serrations hit the bottom of the bolt head as well as whatever your bolting against.

I’m at 3 months today waiting on Bonehead to powder some wheel faces. How long do you usually wait. I know you have used them several times. Oh, you probably already figured it out but you just need to use a pick to get the silencer out. Look in the rear around the hole there is a retaining ring. It blends in pretty good. Pick the end and just walk it out.

Husqvarna is more of the top of the line bike compared to ktm. They come with a carbon composite subframe,stronger rims,slightly different designed frame as they use a different fuel tank because the plastics are different. But other than that they are quite similar 👍
@Fahrenheit_Motorsports3 ай бұрын
@@Tomshuski350 I didn’t know that. That’s pretty cool to hear. I was able to pick mine up for $1000 in excellent condition. College kid moving away and hadn’t ridden it in a few years. Besides minor scraps to the plastic, it’s in great condition.

@Fahrenheit_Motorsports3 ай бұрын
@@Tomshuski350 That's getting done now. I've changed the trans oil. Cleaned the carb and I've ordered grease to lube everything up. Also changed out brake and mineral clutch oil. I was surprised to learn this bike has 200 miles on it. Great compression. I've never owned a 2 stroke before but after watching all of Sabo’s videos I had to take the leap. Plus the $1000 price point was hard to leave the bike sitting there. I've got a tiny YT channel so I've been documenting all the process with the a previous atv and just started with the husky.
