Using that mill to clean up the oil pan cuts was unexpectedly one of the most satisfying things I've seen on YT. Better than any powerwashing or media blasting montage out there

You really like your jigsaw puzzles. First the sub-frames and now the oil pan. Having send cut send support you and knowing a friendly machine shop sure helps. But you need to get your own TIG. You're wearing Hayden out, he looked exhausted after welding your oil pan.

i think with such little pan below the crank, when you flow it you may run into an oil aeration problem. all that oil is going to go right to the crank on acceleration. just my opinion

Dry sump and be done. How are you going to change the oil pan gasket when it leaks? With that slight forward slope for the oil drainage under the crank, it's going to possibly starve the motor of oil under heavy acceleration.
