The front subframe is finally finished and powder coated, there are a few more things to do before the drivetrain goes into the charger and she runs and drives.

Brazing is easy, we learned how to do it in secondary school metalwork classes. All you need is an oxy welding torch and the materials and a bit of practice and you'll pick it up in no time. A quick search revealed that there are multiple tutorials on KZbin to get you started. The main thing is controlling the heat. Just practice on some scrap first and you'll master it in a few minutes. I've never TIG welded, just watched videos on it and I know you can TIG weld, so you'll find brazing so much easier.

@@MrPape39 You probably saw a modified magnum. He started with a charger not a magnum. Bolting on a few parts to an old magnum isn't the same thing as hand building a complete vehicle from top to bottom. The car is a combination of multiple vehicles and hand made one off parts.

You can go to local plumbing businesses for the brazing of that oil pick up I think. Or a radiator service shop.

Once again crazy to see the lengths you are going to to make this work. From determining the steering issues to changing the components of the stub shaft and making it work is no easy task.

You should learn to braze, it's not that difficult, it's a good skill to add, and very economical. If you have an oxy acetylene cutting torch, all you need is a brazing tip, rods & resin, it's kind of like soldering with a torch. Before mig welders were common, that's what we used in body shops for sheet metal work. I brazed until I finally broke down and got a mig in the mid 80's, and still used it off and on for many years after that. Lead is kinda fun to work with too 😁
